XXII – Week 2 Recap

Posted on September 16, 2025September 16, 2025 by rkeepers1

Pack Attack (136.39) vs packerFANatic7 (82.78)
Pack Attack (1-1) gets their first win of the season thanks to a well rounded attack with 6 players in double figures. packerFANatic7 (1-1) drops their first game of the season and this team looks a little different when J. Allen isn’t scoring 40 points.

BIGBOY! (97.36) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (86.47)

The defending champion BIGBOY! (2-0) is off to a fast start as they take down 16hrs (0-2) this week! This was not one of BIGBOY’s more impressive wins but a win is a win and they have proven over the years that they know how to get the W’s! 16hrs has had some rough early season injury luck as Purdy and Kittle were already out and then this week Fields and Goedert also didn’t play. Oh and AJ Brown forgot how to play football so yeah not a great start for 16hrs!

teamAlaska (143.40) vs Big Papa (119.83)

teamAlaska (1-1) gets win #1 on the season by having the highest score in week 2! A. St Brown (38.22) and J Cook (26.95) led the way for them as they dominated this matchup. They will be looking to keep the momentum going as they go up against an injury riddled 16hrs team next week. Big Papa falls to 0-2 on the season and while this week was much better then last it still wasn’t enough to get that first win of the season and not to mention you probably can’t expect 40 points from M Nabers each week. They are going to have to find scoring somewhere else too and they get a chance next week to get that first W of the season.

HHH (111.10) vs Bossman (88.28)
HHH gets another win to start off the season at 2-0 and I know it is just week 2 but they sit at the top of the leaderboard as we head into Week 3. The duo of Mayfield and Egbuka is looking solid through two weeks and P Nacua could finish as the top WR in fantasy this season! Solid start for HHH. Bossman… hmm.. I am hesitant to say much but things aren’t looking very good for this Bossman team. Not only did I not love their draft but now two significant injuries this week as Joe Burrow and J Reed are both going to miss significant time. Burrow sounds like he will miss the entire fantasy season and J Reed’s injury sounds as though we are talking months vs weeks on him too. That’s a tough blow for this team. A perennial powerhouse Bossman has been… can they work their magic again this season?

U Don’t Know (143.17) vs DaUnderdog (127.87)
U Don’t Know (2-0) comes out on top of this high scoring game! Both teams deserved a win but it was U Don’t Know that is the one walking away with a 2-0 record! If this combination of L Jackson (29.37) and J Chase (38.85) continue to put up these kind of #’s U Don’t Know is going to be tough to beat. There is some concern however as with Burrow being out that could hurt Chase’s production but he did just have 14 catches and most of those were from the Bengals backup QB. J Williams through 2 weeks looks like the best late round value pick! DaUnderdog (1-1) had another solid week but they didn’t have quite enough juice to pull this one out. They go up against Sportsfreak next week as they look for win #2.

pack slayer (124.38) vs Sportsfreak (123.35)

Wow! What a game this one turned out to be! This one came down to the Monday night games before it was decided. pack slayer got a solid 13 point effort from B Irving but that did leave the door open for Sportsfreak to close the gap. N Collins started off strong but only finished with 11 points which meant it was up to Q Johnson to lead them to victory. Johnson caught a 60 yard TD before the half which made things really close and it really felt like Sportsfreak would pull it out but the Chargers offense didn’t need to do much after that and pack slayer held on for the 1 point win. pack slayer (1-1) gets their first win of the season while Sportsfreak (1-1) suffered their first loss!

Rapids Plungers (120.53) vs Starrfavrerodg (93.90)

Rapids Plungers (1-1) wanted nothing to do with starting the season 0-2. These early season games may not seem like much but when you have your full team and don’t have to deal with injuries and bye weeks getting off to a fast start becomes really important. Rapids Plungers got a monster game from R Odunze (30.40) who looks like the #1 WR for the Bears and a steal where he was drafted. Starrfavrerodg (1-1) drops their first game of the season. Prescott (23.35) was solid this week but anytime you have 2 positions score 0 points in your starting lineup you are likely going to struggle! That was the case for Starrfavrerodg as T. Bigsby and Denver D didn’t score a point this week. Better luck next week for this team!

That’s it for this week everyone. Have a great week!
