BIGBOY! (131.21) vs packerFANatic7 (130.41)
The reigning champ BIGBOY! (3-0) has started off this season right where they left off as they have won 3 straight games as they look to repeat! It wasn’t easy this week but they were hold off Pack Attack (1-2) who couldn’t get the necessary points from Jameson Williams on Monday night. BIGBOY! takes on Bossman next week as they look to start with 4 straight wins.
teamAlaska (142.88) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (95.61)
teamAlaska with another dominating win as they move to 2-1 on the season. Last week they put up 143 points in the win and now this week 142. They are rolling right now! 16hrs falls to 0-3 on the season and things just got even tougher for them as C Lamb is expected to miss multiple weeks with an ankle sprain. They were already missing, Fields, Purdy, and Kittle prior to this week. That’s tough to overcome!
Big Papa (94.81) vs Starrfavrerodg (94.79)
Wow! What a game this turned out to be as Big Papa (1-2) narrowly and I mean narrowly hold off Starrfavrerodg (1-2) and their comeback attempt. J Gibbs (23.07) came through for Starrfavrerodg on Monday night to make this one interesting but he literally came up 1 yard short! 1 yard! And technically it was only 1/2 yard short but since we don’t give out 1/2 yards it was 1 yard. This is about as close to a tie that I can ever recall! Now the only thing we have to wait for is those stat corrections that come out on Wed/Thurs morning. One slight correction either way and it would flip this game! For now though Big Papa gets their first win of the season and one they needed to have as they didn’t want to start out 0-3! Starrfavrerodg falls to 1-2 on a game they have to feel like they let slip through the cracks!
PackerFANatic7 (128.50) vs Bossman (112.84)
PackerFANatic7 (2-1) gets off to a 2-1 start!!! Why am I mentioning this with exclamation points like it is some big deal or something? Well, because it is for PackerFANatic7. The last time they were able to start a season at 2-1 was way back in the 2018 season which was their 2nd season in the league. The only bad news about that is that they went on to only win 5 games starting the streak we are at today of 7 straight seasons missing the playoffs. 2-1 though has to feel good right now! Bossman on the other hand drops to 0-3! Yes, you heard that right Bossman has not won a game and we are almost one month into the season and this loss would have looked much worse had it not been for J Taylor (33.60) and M Andrews (22.55) having monster games and scoring almost half of their points!
Sportsfreak (101.33) vs DaUnderdog (75.81)
Sportsfreak (2-1) gets the relatively easy win this week against DaUnderdog (1-2). There wasn’t any standout type of performances but they did have solid production from a lot of guys as 5 positions were able to get into double figures. DaUnderdog struggled to get anything going this week as they had 6 of their 11 positions score 5 or less. Not going to win many games that way!
HHH (148.56) vs pack slayer (119.25)
HHH (3-0) came into this week at the top of the standings and with their best performance of the season this week they will be staying right there for at least one more week! 148 points is the highest scoring week of the season in the league and they did it thanks to two somewhat surprising players/positions. D Montgomery (33.72) and the MN Defense (30.00) accounted for about 40% of their scoring. That is crazy and while that is not sustainable it certainly was good to see for HHH as some of their core players really struggled this week. pack slayer (1-2) loses a tough one this week but they just couldn’t keep up with HHH. Tracy went down with injury and is likely going to miss a few weeks and Brian Thomas Jr looks like one of the bigger busts through 3 weeks. They are going to need R Rice back soon! But will it be too late on their season?
Rapids Plungers (142.59) vs U Don’t Know (113.58)
Rapids Plungers (2-1) gets their 2nd win of the season and so far this season they have improved every week! They went from scoring 107 in week 1, to 120 in week 2 and then now 142 this week and of all of the teams that have improved their outlook the most from week 1 until now going into week 4 this is definitely the team. Q Judkins looks like the best rookie RB and T Benson is now going to be the presumed lead back in Ari with the Conner injury. This team is looking tough in the upcoming weeks! U Don’t Know (2-1) drops their first game of the season and the fact that they put up 113 point is actually quite impressive considering they had two starters not score a point and another starter only score 3. They are hoping to get some guys back from injuries in the coming weeks and that will make their lineup look much more complete!
