XXII – Week 5 recap

Posted on October 7, 2025 by rkeepers1

Starrfavrerodg (136.24) vs Pack Attack (103.15)
This was a big game for Starrfavrerodg (2-3) as they really needed to avoid that 1-4 start. Not only did they walk away with the big win they did it with relative ease as they had B Bowers in their starting lineup even though he was ruled out shortly before game time. Pack Attack falls to 2-3 on the season and will to rebound next week.

16hrs Ahead of You!! (122.09) vs Big Papa (89.74)

Back to back huge wins for 16hrs as they move their record to 2-3 on the season. J Fields (23.39) had a nice day but it was the Flex, D, Def, and K spot that really led this team to the win. All 4 of those positions scored in double digits and oddly enough no other position (outside of Fields) were able to do that! Big Papa continues to struggle as they fall to 1-4 on the season and currently tied with Bossman for last place. The good news is that currently there are two 2-3 teams that would make the playoffs if it were to end today so they are just one game out of a playoff spot. The bad news is that this was the third week where they have failed to score 100 points. They will need to find some more offense if they want to turn things around.

BIGBOY! (143.55) vs pack slayer (91.83)

Domination! That’s what we saw this week out of BIGBOY! (5-0) I wrote last week how this BIGBOY! team has won some really close games and I wanted to see them take care of business a little better well they did just that and then some this week as they not only won but had the largest margin of victory this week. They remain undefeated and any questions about their team were silenced at least for one week! pack slayer (2-3) picked a bad time to have one of their worst weeks of the season. They couldn’t get anything going despite a really nice game from Tua (23.45) and D Smith (18.70). Outside of those two there was really nothing else. They will want to forget about this one quickly!

Bossman (125.93) vs teamAlaska (118.86)
Finally! And I think I could hear the sigh of relief from the GM of Bossman (1-4) as they figured out a way to get their first win of the season. They were led by really 3 players this week as J Taylor (28.40), R White (20.23) and S Diggs (22.30) led the way. The White production was a by product of the B Irving injury so they can’t expect that every week but Diggs looked a little more like the Diggs from 4 years ago this week and J Taylor is having a monster season. They are going to need more of this going forward for them to dig out of this hole. teamAlaska falls to 2-3 on the season and has now lost two straight games despite averaging 125 points these past two weeks. Normally, you would take that and in most cases you may even come out on top both weeks but unfortunately for them they didn’t get either and are now part of the log jam of 2 win teams. They will look to get back on track next week against pack slayer.

DaUnderdog (160.86) vs PackerFANatic7 (114.11)
Another year and another dominating effort from DaUnderdog (2-3) over PackerFANatic7. It’s kind of crazy how well DaUnderdog plays against this team. They dominated yet again this week as R Dowdle rushes for over 200 yards and has 44.73 points. They had 5 other players in double figures and that allows them to finish with 160 points which is the 2nd highest in the league so far. PackerFANatic (2-3) didn’t have a terrible game as they put up a solid 114 points it just wasn’t nearly enough to keep up. They had a well rounded attack with 7 positions scoring in double digits but their highest score was 16.59 from J Allen. They needed someone to match Dowdle’s 40 and they didn’t get it. Off to next week!

HHH (164.15) vs U Don’t Know (135.48)

Wow! If there was any doubt if this HHH team was for real I think we don’t have to wonder anymore. They dominated a solid U Don’t Know team to move to 5-0 on the season. The record is impressive but it’s been the way at which they have been beating teams that I am most impressed by. They have scored over 144 points in each of the last three weeks and their lowest point total on the season is 111. They have scored a whopping 704 points and the next closest team has 643. Just for comparison sake, the other 5-0 team in BIGBOY has only scored 582! This week it was the combination of Mayfield (27.58) to the rookie sensation E Egbuka (33.15) that really helped lead them to victory. They will look to keep things rolling this week against the 4-1 Sportsfreak team! U Don’t Know falls to 2-3 and based on how their team played this was one of those scenarios where you played the wrong team at the wrong time! J Chase (30.30) came out of hibernation to put up 30 and J Williams continued his strong play with 27. They did get some bad news as O Hamption looks to be done for about a month so they will have to deal with that in the coming weeks!

Sportsfreak (107.67) vs Rapids Plungers (106.80)

Game of the week here as Sportsfreak (4-1) squeaks out the 1 point win over Rapids Plungers (3-2). This one came down to the Sunday night game. Sportsfreak was down by 12.78 points with B Tuten and T Hunter remaining. Hunter had yet to score in double figures all year and Tuten well he is a backup RB that sees 4-8 touches a game. I could seen this as going either way. T Hunter (11.40) came up big and almost got all of the points needed himself and Tuten (2.25) finished it off to lead them to a 1 point win. Rapids Plungers will be getting back a bunch of guys from Bye’s next week so they should be fine and Sportsfreak has now won three straight and are looking like a strong playoff team!

That’s it for this week everyone. Have a great week!
