16hrs (3-6) needed this win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive and they did just that by getting the easy win against pack slayer. The win also stopped their three game losing streak. For pack slayer they fall to 4-5 on the season and now have failed to score 100 points in 4 of their 5 last weeks and yet somehow have 4 wins. This team from a points perspective is the worst in the league and well it’s not even close. However, the good news is that at 4-5 they are right in the thick of things as it pertains to a playoff run just know they won’t win any tie-breakers if it were to come down to that!
DaUnderdog (151.95) vs Big Papa (151.42)
WOW! What a game this one turned out to be! This one came down to the Monday nighter as DaUnderdog got 20.50 combined points from the Dallas D and J. Ferguson to walk away with the 0.53 point win… for now! I say for now because when we have close games like this one little stat correction can swing a matchup! For now though, DaUnderdog gets win #6 on the season and Big Papa gets a really tough loss to fall to 3-6 on the season. Big Papa would have beaten any other team they played this week! That probably hurts more then it helps but just stating the facts that your luck was not very good this week!
BIGBOY! (142.15) vs HHH (116.53)
BIGBOY! moves to 7-2 on the season and has been playing some good football after losing two straight back in weeks 6 and 7. They rebounded nicely to win these last two games and are now sitting a top the leaderboard looking primed to defend their title! HHH (5-4) is going in the complete opposite direction. After winning their first 5 games to start the season they now have lost 4 straight and are going to need to start winning some games to avoid dropping completely out of the playoffs!
Rapids Plungers (105.79) vs PackerFANatic7(97.22)
It wasn’t pretty but Rapids Plungers keeps doing what they do best as they find a way to get their 7th win on the season and stay at the top of the leaderboard. Rapids Plungers has won 4 straight games and 7 of their last 8 with their only loss being a 1 point loss to Sportsfreak! PackerFANatic7 falls to 3-6 on the season and this was one that they really needed to get! Rapids Plungers gave them a chance as they only scored 105 points but PackerFANatic7 couldn’t take advantage and now is left with a must win type of mentality the remainder of the season!
teamAlaska (109.91) vs Sportsfreak (76.23)
teamAlaska (3-6) breaks their 5 game losing streak and saves their season for one week at least! They took down Sportsfreak in surprisingly easy fashion! Sportsfreak (6-3) must have let the pressure of being up top get to them as they have now lost two straight and failed to score 100 in either of those matchups!
Starrfavrerodg (121.82) vs U Don’t Know (76.74)
I feel like this has been the theme of the week where the teams that had to find ways to save their season did just that and Starrfavrerodg was one of them! They were able to stop their 3 game losing streak and get win # 3 on the season to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. U Don’t Know falls to 5-4 and this was one they were really hoping to get to keep pace with some of the top teams. With the loss it also breaks their 3 game losing streak but if the playoffs were to end today they would be the #6 seed so that’s the primary focus over the next 5 weeks for this team!
