HHH (139.81) vs Pack Attack (124.56)
HHH (7-7) did what they had to do this week by scoring a big # and getting the win however they didn’t get any help as both DaUnderdog and Starrfavrerodg won their games which means that HHH finishes as the #7 spot and misses out on the playoffs! HHH should get a little satisfaction as they took down Pack Attack 2 times this season and in doing so this week they knocked them out of a first round bye! Pack Attack finishes with 8 wins and as the #4 seed in the playoffs!
PackerFANatic7 (124.90) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (112.44)
PackerFANatic7 (7-7) finishes off the season really strong as they went 5-2 in their final 7 games but they couldn’t overcome that 2-5 start and will miss the playoffs for the 8th straight season which is now tied for the third longest streak in league history! Maybe this momentum can carry over to next season? 16hrs (5-9) ends their season with a loss and the only good news is that they did qualify for the consolation round!
BIGBOY! (114.54) vs Big Papa (63.93)
Our reigning champ BIGBOY! (9-5) finishes the season strong with a nice win over Big Papa (5-9) and in doing so finish as the #3 seed in the playoffs! It hasn’t been pretty but none of that matters as BIGBOY! is back to defend their title! Big Papa had a rough season and their fantasy season is done-done as they didn’t qualify for even the consolation round!
Sportsfreak (149.67) vs Bossman (83.27)
For whatever reason historically the team that loses in the super bowl struggles the following year but that is not the case this season for Sportsfreak (9-5) as they had a really solid season and finished off as the #2 seed and got that super important first round bye! Now can they finish this off with their first ever championship? Bossman (6-8) had a rough season and will miss the playoffs for the first time in 6 years! That’s an incredible run and as a team that seems to always be in the hunt this year was no different. While they didn’t make the playoffs they did put up a valiant effort as they scratched and clawed their way back from a 0-4 start to get back to 6-6 on the season with 2 to play but they just couldn’t quite do it this time around as they finished by losing their last two games. It was a good 6 year run but they won’t be participating in this years playoffs!
DaUnderdog (110.27) vs Rapids Plungers (52.79)
DaUnderdog (8-6) takes care of business this week as the win seals their playoff spot! They get in as the #6 seed and will take on their rival and defending champ BIGBOY! in round 1 of the playoffs! Rapids Plungers finishes the season well… in really ugly fashion and I am not 100% sure what to make of it. This team dominated through 12 weeks but these last two weeks have been ugly. I am chalking it up to the fact that they had nothing to play for and they are just getting ready for the post season which for them won’t officially start for another two weeks! A great season nonetheless for Rapids Plungers as they finish with 10 wins and the #1 overall seed!
pack slayer (105.83) vs U Don’t Know (103.33)
pack slayer (6-8) finishes off their season strong winning their final two games but that 5 game losing streak that preceded it is what did them in! They will be missing out on the playoffs this season! U Don’t Know (6-8) looked like a playoff team until week 9 hit as they went 1-5 to finish out the season. That is a tough way to finish and now they will be left wondering what if for the entire off season!
Starrfavrerodg (146.09) vs teamAlaska (95.22)
Starrfavrerodg (8-6) caps off an incredible run to the playoffs with yet another win! 6 weeks ago this team was 2-6 and had just their 6 of their last 7 games but then some of their stars started playing like stars. Bowers, Gibbs and then the emergence of M Wilson has led this team to 6 straight wins and the #5 spot in the playoffs! Talk about momentum heading into the playoffs!? What a great accomplishment, congrats Starrfavrerodg! For teamAlaska (4-10) their season is finally over and they finish dead last! I was thinking this was the year that we should start some kind of punishment for the last place team!?
