XXII – Week 3 Preview

Posted on September 18, 2025 by rkeepers1

My Picks Record:
Last Week: 0-0
Overall: 2-4

BIGBOY! (2-0) vs Pack Attack (1-1)
BIGBOY! has started strong in their quest to be the first team to ever win back to back Super Bowls multiple times! They built a team with solid depth which will allow them on certain weeks to play the matchup game. As it looks this week they will have a new starter in Caleb Williams at QB replacing K Murray. These are big decisions that when you are right you look like a genius, when you are wrong well… people let you know about it. Pack Attack is coming off their first win and now gets the tough task of the reigning champ. This should be a good game!

Prediction:
Check out the Yahoo predictions for this one!

Historical Look at this Match-Up:

  • Regular Season Match-ups: 15
  • Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 8-7
  • PPG Avg: Advantage Pack Attack 116.07 to 109.38

16hrs Ahead of You!! (0-2) vs teamAlaska (1-1)
It’s been a rough start to the season for 16hrs as they have dropped their first two games. Last week they ran into a bit of tough luck with injuries. The last two seasons had been some of their best and you were thinking maybe this team turned the corner but sitting in the all too familiar last place through two weeks is not where they want to be. teamAlaska is coming off a really nice week to get their first win on the season and have been playing well through the first two weeks. They lack depth which may show up come bye week season or if they run into any injuries but their starting lineup is strong.

Prediction:
With J Fields out and B Purdy questionable I am not 100% sure which direction 16hrs will be going this week at the QB position. Regardless though I like teamAlaska in this one to win their 2nd straight.

Historical Look at this Match-Up:

  • Regular Season Match-ups: 20
  • Record: Advantage teamAlaska at 12-8
  • PPG Avg: Advantage teamAlaska 116.93 to 105.92

Big Papa (0-2) vs Starrfavrerodg (1-1)
This is not the start the Big Papa was looking for. They finished last season by winning only 2 of their last 6 games and were hoping to put that rough finish past them however it seems to have carried over and they are now in danger of falling to 0-3. Starrfavrerodg had a rough game last week as they failed to get to 100 points. They will be looking for a much better showing this week and I think they have a team that can compete however T Bigsby must be dating his daughter because no way he should be starting on this team or any team for that matter…. oh wait Starrfavrerodg doesn’t have any daughters… I guess I have no idea then!

Prediction:
As I mentioned I do like this Starrfavrerodg team, they don’t have a lot of depth but like I wrote about with teamAlaska they have a solid starting lineup. I am going with Starrfavrerodg to find a way to get win #2 on the season and send Big Papa to a tough 0-3 start.

Historical Look at this Match-Up:

  • Regular Season Match-ups: 6
  • Record: Advantage Starrfavrerodg at 4-2
  • PPG Avg: Advantage Big Papa 134.89 to 121.28

Bossman (0-2) vs PackerFanatic7 (1-1)

It’s week 3 and Bossman is in some very unfamiliar territory and that is they have yet to win their first game. I had to go all the way back to the 2017 season to find a time when Bossman started a season at 0-2. Now the good news is they went on to win their next 6 games after that and I am sure that is exactly what Bossman is hoping for this year. PackerFanatic7 is coming off a rough loss where they just couldn’t get anything going. They will be looking for a nice bounceback from J. Allen and team this week!

Prediction:
I hate to say it… no I actually kind of like it but Bossman is going to lose again and start the season at 0-3. I don’t see enough firepower this week for them to keep up with PackerFANatic7. PackerFANatic7’s team got stronger with the A Jones injury and J. Mason now the lead back in MN while Bossman’s roster got much worse losing Burrow and J. Reed last week. I like PackerFANatic7 to get win #2 on the season!

Historical Look at this Match-Up:

  • Regular Season Match-ups: 8
  • Record: Tied at 4-4
  • PPG Avg: Advantage PackerFANatic7 120.24 to 118.77

DaUnderdog (1-1) vs Sportsfreak (1-1)

Both of these teams are coming off of tough losses. Games that easily could have went their way and we could have been talking about two undefeated teams going head to head. Instead we now have two teams wanting to make sure they don’t drop two games in a row! Sportsfreak got hit a bit with the injury bug as A Jones is now on IR and J Daniels is questionable for Sunday. DaUnderdog has a deep roster and for some reason has 3 QB’s on their team all of whom appear to be around the same caliber. Good luck picking the right one each week!

Prediction:
This looks like it could be a really good game so close that I really think this comes down to whether J Daniels plays or not. If Daniels plays I like Sportsfreak to get the win if not I have DaUnderdog getting the W. Since I don’t know for sure if he plays or not and I need to make a pick I am going with DaUnderdog to find a way to win this one.

Historical Look at this Match-Up:

  • Regular Season Match-ups: 24
  • Record: Advantage Sportsfreak at 13-11
  • PPG Avg: Advantage Sportsfreak 111.61 to 101.50

pack slayer (1-1) vs HHH (2-0)
HHH is the best of the best through 2 weeks. I know it is only two weeks but you just never know how long I will be able to say that about teams so when they get there I like to call it out! HHH’s pairing of Mayfield and Egbuka has looked outstanding in the early going and they will be looking for another strong outing from them this week. pack slayer snuck by with a 1 point win last week and things don’t get any easier here in week 3. They are doing everything they can to keep winning some of these games while they wait for R Rice to get back from suspension.

Prediction:
In looking at these teams, I see a path for pack slayer to win as they have more of a boom/bust type of roster. If their guys have those booms week together they are going to score a lot of points. However I see HHH has having a roster that should be scoring 100 points consistently each week and sprinkling in those 140 point efforts here and there. That said, I like HHH to get the win and move to 3-0 on the season!

Historical Look at this Match-Up:

  • Regular Season Match-ups: 14
  • Record: Tied at 7-7
  • PPG Avg: Advantage pack slayer 113.27 to 108.19

Rapids Plungers (1-1) vs U Don’t Know (2-0)
Rapids Plungers got their first win of the season and here we are in Week 3 and suddenly their roster looks much better then it did after draft night. R Odunze looks like he could be a star in the league and Q Judkins seems like he will be taking over the lead back roll in Cleveland. U Don’t Know has had a nice start to the season. They seem like they found a few late round gems in Javonte Williams and T Kraft couple that with J. Chase and L Jackson and you have a team that looks poised to win a lot of games.

Prediction:
I don’t think X. Worthy plays this week and that really hurts U Don’t Know as they don’t have a lot of depth at that position. I like a lot of the players for Rapids Plungers this week and I am going with them to knock U Don’t Know from the ranks of the unbeaten. Rapids Plungers with the win here.

Historical Look at this Match-Up:

  • Regular Season Match-ups: 18
  • Record: Tied at 9-9
  • PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 128.97 to 122.28
