My Picks Record:
Last Week: 4-2
Overall: 10-8
Pack Attack (2-2) vs Starrfavrerodg (1-3)
Starrfavrerodg comes into this one having lost three straight games. Two of which were very winnable so we could easily be sitting here talking about a 3-1 team but instead they have struggled to find those wins and are now needing a much needed win against against Pack Attack. This one will likely come down to Monday nights game and right now it is T Etienne and I Pacheco who may be called upon to win the game for Pack Attack. Not sure I like those odds for Pack Attack. This should be a good game!

16hrs Ahead of You!! (1-3) vs Big Papa (1-3)
Both of these teams have been hit hard with injuries. I talked about 16hrs last week and it didn’t get a whole lot better this week as Purdy is out once again and Lamb I am guessing will miss this week and probably another week or two before he is back. Big Papa had J. Warren out last week and then had his newly traded for WR in T. Hill suffer a season ending knee injury. The good news is they play each other which means one of these injury riddled teams is going to get win #2.
Prediction:
I like Justin Fields a lot this week up against that Dallas D. I also think Hubbard is in for a nice game and anytime that AJ Brown makes the news that he is not happy about his lack of touches the next week he is usually in line for a solid game. I don’t see a lot of points this week for Big Papa. Justin Herbert should put up solid #’s… let’s say 25 points but outside of that I just don’t see enough firepower here. 16hrs to get win #2 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 21
- Record: Advantage Big Papa at 12-9
- PPG Avg: Advantage Big Papa 115.66 to 105.72
BIGBOY! (4-0) vs pack slayer (2-2)
I talked in the recap just how close all of the games with BIGBOY! have been this season so far and kuddos to them as they have done what championship fantasy football teams do and they found a way to win those games. pack slayer also has had some crazy close games in their two wins. They won in week 2 by 1.03 points and last week by 0.24 points. So in other words a catch here a 10 yard run there and we would be looking at a 1-3 team vs a 0-4 team! Instead though these two teams are a combined 6-2! Are there records a fraud or will they continue to find ways to win! The answer is that one of two will find a way to win and avoid any of those “fraud” questions for at least a week!
Prediction:
BIGBOY! lost M. Nabers last week and that stings big time as he is the type of player that can win you championships. That certainly hurt their depth but they still have a solid core. For pack slayer I am not expecting B Irving to play this week and that’s a tough blow! I don’t see where they are going to find enough points to keep up with BIGBOY! this week. I like BIGBOY! to get another win and move to 5-0 on the season!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 14
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 10-4
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 125.36 to 115.56
Bossman (0-4) vs teamAlaska (2-2)
Bossman has played 19 seasons in this league, Bossman has had 4 or fewer losses in 8 of those 19 seasons and here we are in week 5 and Bossman already has matched that 4 loss total! This is definitely unprecedented territory for this Bossman squad! teamAlaska has been playing solid all season as outside of week 1 they have scored 130 or more points each week. That has to be a little frightening for Bossman as their highest scoring week was 112 and they have had two weeks where they failed to score over 100. Can they somehow find a way to get their first win this week?
Prediction:
I actually think it could happen and I see how it could happen as I do like D Jones and J Taylor both but can they both have big games on the same week? Also, I think Henry should be in line for a lot of work with L Jackson out but will that work amount to fantasy points as they will be stacking the box to stop him? I don’t like a lot of the matchups this week for teamAlaska’s squad so I am going to pick the upset and assume that there is no way Bossman starts the season at 0-5. Bossman finds a way to get the win!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 20
- Record: Advantage teamAlaska at 11-9
- PPG Avg: Advantage teamAlaska 117.96 to 117.11
DaUnderdog (1-3) vs PackerFANatic7 (2-2)
DaUnderdog comes into this one having lost 3 straight and is in dire need of a win and maybe just maybe the best thing for them is to play a PackerFANatic7 team that they have historically beat up on! These two teams have met 9 times and DaUnderdog has won 8 of them! PackerFANatic7 has two losses and in those losses they failed to score 100 points each time. That actually feels about right for this game. First team to 100 wins? Will DaUnderdog continue their dominance or will PackerFANatic7 find a way to get their 3rd win on the season?
Prediction:
Bye weeks are starting to play a factor for the first time. DaUnderdog will be without one of the best fantasy players in the game as B Robinson will be out due to the bye. Waddle gets an uptick in value now that Hill is out but I don’t see enough pieces here especially if McLaurin can’t go. I like PackerFANatic7 to get a rare win over DaUnderdog this week.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 9
- Record: Advantage DaUnderdog at 8-1
- PPG Avg: Advantage DaUnderdog 125.95 to 104.79
HHH (4-0) vs U Don’t Know (2-2)
HHH is rolling through 4 weeks of the season and will be looking to keep the momentum going this week against U Don’t Know. They will be missing J Jacobs and M Parsons due to bye weeks. U Don’t Know will be without L Jackson and T Kraft this week but the rookie O Hamption looks like a stud RB and the return of Godwin will help.
Prediction:
I think this is going to be a close one. I don’t yet know who U Don’t Know will be grabbing at QB so that makes it a little tough to gauge but I actually like the roster I see right now for U Don’t Know and the guys they will be adding to their starting lineup are just fillers. I think U Don’t Know pulls off the upset!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 20
- Record: Advantage U Don’t Know at 12-8
- PPG Avg: Advantage U Don’t Know 118.20 to 109.43
Rapids Plungers (3-1) vs Sportsfreak (3-1)
Game of the week! Yep, this is the one. The only game that features two teams above .500 this week. I have been mentioning how stacked Rapids Plungers lineup felt and then of course they lose T Benson for over a month (sorry)! This team still has a lot of weapons but starting M Carterat flex just doesn’t sound quite as nice! They will be without Pearsall, Odunze, and London this week in addition to Benson. That’s a lot of points missing! Sportsfreak will be without DK Metcalf and Kyle Pitts but will get J Daniels back! So who gets the win and stays at the top of the leaderboard?
Prediction:
This looks really close and it feels like one of those matchups where the winning team is going to have 20 points from their D player or something random like that. When it is a toss up, I always look to the stars and I think Rapids Plungers has a 5 guys I trust whereas Sportsfreak has 4. I am going to go with Rapids Plungers to get the win!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 17
- Record: Advantage Rapids Plungers at 12-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 128.87 to 120.57
