Pack Attack (174.47) vs Starrfavrerodg (58.32)
When one playoff team decides to have their worst performance of the year and another playoff team has their best you get something like a 116 point blowout. Pack Attack got production all across the board and were led by McBride’s 35 points. Starrfavrerodg only had one player in double digits and that was M Wilson with 13. Hard to win any game much less a playoff game with that type of production. Starrfavrerodg did however have a successful season. They were able to turn around a 2-6 start and get into the playoffs! That’s an impressive feat and one they can be proud of as they look back on the season. I am sure they will be looking to start a little faster next season! Pack Attack moves on and will face the #1 overall seed in Rapids Plungers next week!
BIGBOY! (147.74) vs DaUnderdog (113.79)
It’s playoff time and there are certain teams that just know how to rise to the occasion. BIGBOY! is proving to be one of those teams. They were able to once again this week find a way to get the most out of their guys as they took down DaUnderdog! Brissett continues to be solid for them and they had DJ Moore (19.45) have his second best scoring week of the season, J Croskey-Merrit (12.40) second best scoring week of the season, D Schultz best scoring week of the season, Chi D best scoring week of the season! Why do I tell you all that because some people might use that as a reason to say this team has been lucky! Others might say that it is a solid coach and starting the right guys at the right time. I will let you decide what you think but the fact of the matter is this is the reigning champ and they are not going to go down easy and they are now just two wins away from history! BIGBOY! moves on and will play their brother, Sportsfreak in a Super Bowl rematch from a year ago!
DaUnderdog had a solid season and they had to like their chances coming into this one. Overall they had a solid game as they put up 113 points and had you told me prior to the week starting that they were going to score 113 I would have said that should be enough to get the win but it wasn’t this week for all the reasons I just mentioned. They did however make it back to the playoffs after missing last season and they will be looking to take some of this momentum and hope it leads to another playoff berth and some success in the playoffs next season!
