My Prediction Record to Date: 3-3
pack slayer (1-0) vs Pack Attack (0-1)
pack slayer comes into week 2 fresh off a win and if you go back to last season they have now won 3 games in a row and 5 out of their last 6. They will be looking to keep that momentum going again this week against a Pack Attack team that is trying to avoid starting as slow as they did last season when they lost their first 3 games of the season. pack slayer is going to be looking for more out of their guys this week as despite the win they didn’t play that great. They need big games from M. Thomas, J. Gordon and Kittle if they want to start the season at 2-0.

16hrs Ahead of You!! (0-1) vs Bossman (0-1)
We’ve got two teams coming off tough week one losses and for Bossman they now will be without their star WR in T. Hill for 4-6 weeks. For 16hrs they showed signs of life last week but just weren’t able to pull off the win. They now face a Bossman team that seems to be struggling and confidence can’t be very high at this point. If 16hrs can get off to a big lead they may be able to come out on top. Bossman has “Zeke” fully back after a game and a week of practice so he should get a large workload. That may be the boost of confidence they need after watching Hill go down last week and their team playing poorly overall. This is two veteran coaches that want nothing to do with an 0-2 start.
Prediction:
Yahoo score projections really like Bossman this week. I am not sure that I agree. I like Michel and Edelman which is a no brainer (did you see Miami last week) and Zeke is in line for a big day. Ekeler proved he has big game potential but I am just not sure you can count on that every week, at least not right now. Prescott showed up last week, but I have never been a fan. He may prove me wrong. 16hrs will be needing big games from D. Watson, A. Cooper & A. Kamara to stay in this one but I think this game is going to come down to the role players and which ones step up. I think OJ Howard starts off the week strong for 16hrs and their role players of D. Freeman and C. Kirk have 30 + points combined between the two. That should be enough to pull off the upset and send Bossman really scrambling! 16hrs to get the rare win against Bossman.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: Advantage Bossman at 11-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage Bossman 133.97 to 111.11
teamAlaska (1-0) vs Big Papa (0-1)
Big Papa coach had such a long off season trying to get ready for the draft and week 1 that they decided they needed a break. So they flew to Canada without any cell reception and left their team to try and win a game without on their own. That plan backfired as they are coming home to a team that is 0-1 and now they get to face teamAlaska that almost put up 200 pts last week! Rumor has it that they wanted to stay another week but the thought of possibly starting the season out at 0-2 was too much to handle. Glad you have your priorities straight coach! For teamAlaska, this has been a fun last few days as they re-live that historic first week. I got a call from the coach of teamAlaska this week which I did not record and I will not be sharing the audio with you (see AB and Jon Gruden if you don’t get the reference) but the phrase from their coach went something like this… “I haven’t been able to say it often so I am going to say it now… I am in first place in fantasy”. Good for you, teamAlaska and I am excited to see if you stay there!
Prediction:
In predicting this one it is very hard not to look at last week’s game and see points all over the board for teamAlaska. No, I do not think they will put up 199pts again this week but it would not shock me if they are one of the top scoring teams again. Big Papa on the other side I am having a much harder time finding points outside of the two obvious which are Mahomes and Gurley. Those two alone however could lead a team to a victory! I expect a big game from Mahomes as I will virtually every week but I don’t think there is a enough offense for Big Papa this week. Look for teamAlaska to get the win and stay on top for at least one more week!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 16
- Record: Advantage Big Papa at 10-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage Big Papa 118.35 to 107.35
PackMan12 (1-0) vs BIGBOY! (0-1)
The two time defending champs in BIGBOY! come into this one fresh off a tough loss last week but I don’t get the sense that there is any panic or overreaction. They have won back to back championships for a reason and their team played relatively well. They now go up against a PackMan12 team that got off to a good start winning their week 1 game and now will be looking to build on that momentum. They would love nothing more then to send the champs to a 0-2 start!
Prediction:
I mentioned that PackMan12 would love nothing more then to sens the champs to an 0-2 start… well I don’t see that happening. I once again really like BIGBOY! and their team this week. I think BIGBOY! wins and I don’t think it is really very close.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 8
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 5-3
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 127.27 to 123.13
DaUnderdog (1-0) vs HHH (0-1)
DaUnderdog is coming off of a close win last week while HHH had the lowest scoring team in week 1 so therefore they are sitting in last place! Things change quickly in fantasy football from week to week so it will be interesting to see how this game unfolds. HHH wants to show everyone that week 1 was a fluke while DaUnderdog who is notorious for starting slow would love to get off to a 2-0 start.
Prediction:
Yahoo is predicting this as a relatively low scoring game and I think I agree with that. I think the GB players for HHH (Adams and Jones) could struggle again against a tough MN defense. DaUnderdog is likely going to be without J. Mixon this week and I expect that D. Cook is slowed a bit by that vaunted Packers run D :). I think that DaUnderdog figures out a way to get the win here and moves to 2-0.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 16
- Record: Advantage DaUnderdog at 9-7
- PPG Avg: Advantage DaUnderdog 109.21 to 106.50
PackerFANatic7 (1-0) vs Sportsfreak (0-1)
PackerFANatic7 has done one thing really well since they entered the league in 2017 and that is that they start off fast. In 2017 they started out 4-1 and in 2018 they started 3-1. That hasn’t always led to great success at the end of the year but not playing from behind all season is way easier then playing catch up! Sportsfreak knows a little about playing catch up from last season as they started out 0-6. A loss here and their confidence if it isn’t already gone would be certainly challenged. This is a proud owner though and I expect them to put up a good fight this week. Will it be enough to get the win?
Prediction:
I don’t think so. I do expect Sportsfreak to beat their projection this week however I don’t think it is going to be quite enough to take down the PackerFANatic7 squad. Look for this one to be close heading into Monday night game where PackerFANatic7 had Chubb going and Sportsfreak OBJ. I expect good games from both of them and it will make for a stressful finish but PackerFANatic7 will hold on for a 4 point win thanks to a TD by Chubb in the 4th quarter.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 2
- Record: Split at 1-1
- PPG Avg: Advantage PackerFANatic7 118.65 to 98.94
Rapids Plungers (1-0) vs U Don’t Know (1-0)
If week 1 was any indication of how the season is going to go then these two teams are going to be battling for the top spots in the league all year. I think more then anything it wasn’t necessarily that each of these two teams won last week but they did it while scoring solid points. The question is can they sustain this success. U Don’t Know got bad news about AB, then they got good news, then bad news again. Pretty sure this roller coaster doesn’t end anytime this soon. This looks like a good litmus test in week 2 for both of these teams.
Prediction:
Both of these teams were able to win last week with getting very little production out of their QB’s. I expect better production for both but I still don’t see either QB going crazy which means it comes down to the rest of the guys. AB is a wildcard for U Don’t Know that could turn out to be great or he might not see a pass. On the other side, Rapids Plungers showed their WR’s are legit and will likely keep them in games the entire year. As far as this week, U Don’t Know has to many question marks. I am going with Rapids Plungers to win this one rather easily.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 11
- Record: Advantage U Don’t Know at 6-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 122.52 to 118.89
Good Luck everyone and have a great week ahead!
