Bossman (100.54) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (82.68)
There were some weird things going on to end the regular season and some of those things were related to these two teams. 16hrs finished the season in a way that we haven’t seen in a long time and in doing so they got back to the playoffs for the first time in 10 years and on the flip side of that Bossman did something very un-bossmanlike (weird) and finished the season losing 5 of their last 6 games which for a team that has consistently over the years proven they are able to “find ways to win” that was surprising. Fast forward to this week’s matchup and in a week where it seemed the entire NFL got weird and players who were stars all season played like anything but stars Bossman was able to do what they have been consistently known for and that is finding ways to win. It certainly wasn’t pretty but come playoff time none of that means anything and they were able to get it done this week to move on to the Final Four. Why did they move on? Simple. Travis Kelce! Kelce didn’t have the year that many expected but he showed up big time this week accounting for 40% of Bossman’s points. 16hrs seemed like they were just happy to be in the playoffs and really didn’t do much this week and were only able to put up 82 points. This was a winnable game but hopefully we will see this team back in the playoffs sometime sooner then 10 years! Bossman now moves to their third straight Final Four and will take on pack slayer in what should be a great game!
DaUnderdog (116.19) vs U Don’t Know (100.93)
DaUnderdog’s impressive season is going to take them to the Final Four as they were able to upset the reigning champs and making sure they wouldn’t be any repeating happening! This was a great game and it got started by DaUnderdog jumping out to a big lead thanks to great performances from B. Cooks (29.10) and A. St. Brown (18.83) and it actually looked like DaUnderdog may win this one easily but then Rodgers (24.09) and D. Samuel (14.93) got U Don’t Know back within striking distance. D. Montgomery and G. Joseph created a bit of separation for DaUnderdog and it came down to last night’s game with U Don’t Know needing 17 points from OBJ to get the win. Unfortunately for them OBJ did nothing as he finished with 1.35 points. A disappointing loss for U Don’t Know but I know that this team and this coach is proud of the way their team battled back and was able to get back into the playoffs after things looked bleak for the first half of the season. DaUnderdog is moving on and will face their toughest test of the season as they will go up against the #1 overall seed in BIGBOY! DaUnderdog has lived up to their name all season as in most cases they have been the underdog BUT they continue to find ways to win and here they are moving on to the final four! What a run they are on and I am excited to see what they can do next week!
