BIGBOY! (2-2) vs Pack Attack (0-4)
The two lowest scoring teams in the league meet this week for a game in which the first team to 100 wins? That would be a bad thing for Pack Attack as they haven’t even hit the century mark one time this year and BIGBOY! despite their low overall total actually has had back to back weeks where they found a way to score 100. If BIGBOY! can find a way to navigate these injuries they have been dealing with and start out the season at 3-2 I think they would take it. Pack Attack clearly needs a win but starting 0-4 with the team they have it seems they are already looking into playing the role of spoiler and it’s week 5!

16hrs Ahead of You!! (1-3) vs PackerFANatic7 (1-3)
Here is a game of 1-3 teams trying to claw their way back to .500. PackerFANatic7 has really struggled the last two weeks as they have now lost two straight while 16hrs seems to be moving in the right direction and have improved in the scoring department each week. This is a big game for both teams as a win here and they would have a chance the following week to get back to .500 however with a loss they put themselves in a deep 1-4 hole that they will likely be battling all season to try and get out of.
Prediction:
I think this could turn out to be a good game and a lot of it may depend on the health of A. St. Brown which unfortunately for PackerFANatic7 it isn’t sounding very good as of this writing. If St. Brown plays then I would give a slight nod to PackerFANatic7 but I am thinking he won’t play especially with Detroit’s bye week following so I am going to go with 16hrs to get the win. This one has the look of a game that will come down to the Monday night game as 16hrs has D. Carr and PackerFANatic7 has D. Adams. I think Adams makes it close but 16hrs gets their second win in a row.

- Regular Season Match-ups: 5

- PPG Avg: Advantage PackerFANatic7 127.71 to 115.75
Big Papa (3-1) vs U Don’t Know (2-2)
According to Yahoo and their great projection system (the same projection system that gave Bossman 1 win on the season) they have this looking like the highest scoring game of the week. U Don’t Know has lost two straight games but haven’t played terrible in those losses they just couldn’t quite keep up from an offensive perspective. Big Papa on the other hand has been really good through 4 weeks. Outside of that Week 3 game where they only scored 77 points they have scored 160, 122 and 151 respectively! I still can’t quite get that week 3 game out of my mind but a win here and I think it is time to start talking about this team as one of the top in the league!
Prediction:
I see why Yahoo has U Don’t Know as the highest projected scoring team this week as I really like Brady, Diggs, Barkley and Hall this week. Big Papa has Mahomes and Kupp and those two can keep you in most games along with Hockenson who is coming off a 40 point outburst last week. I expect him to come back to a more “normal” Hockenson like 10 point performance this week. That said, I like U Don’t Know to win this one in another one that likely comes down to the Monday night game. U Don’t Know with win # 3 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 17

- PPG Avg: Advantage Big Papa 116.57 to 114.40
Bossman (3-1) vs HHH (1-3)
Bossman has won three straight games and they keep pushing themselves to a familiar spot of sitting at the top of the standings. It has been mentioned many times about the success they have had overall in this league and specifically the fact that they have made the Super Bowl three seasons in a row! Which has never been done. They always seem to have a plan in the draft and this year with the #1 overall pick it seemed they went with a balanced approach as they drafted RB, TE, WR and QB to start and that has seemingly worked out great through 4 weeks. They got J. Taylor at #1 who despite his recent struggles I would still expect to finish near the top of the RB’s, M. Andrews with their 2nd pick and he currently ranks as TE3 but if he stays healthy it is him and Kelce in a league of their own, their 3rd round pick was T. Hill who still looks the part even though he is in a different uniform and is currently the #2 WR in the league. With their 4th round pick they took K. Murray who has been solid and is showing signs (when he gets all his weapons back) of a QB that I could easily see finishing in the top 5. And there is your blueprint for winning in a deep 14 team league… draft the best (or near the best) player at each position and then fill in around them! So as much bashing as Yahoo gave this team after the draft I thought a little kudos were in order. It is early but well done Bossman… again! HHH is coming off a big win last week to avoid a 0-4 hole and now have a tough task ahead of them but if they can find a way to take down Bossman this week they may be well on their way to digging out of that early hole!
Prediction:
I just went through and bragged up this Bossman squad and rightfully so however this week is going to be a challenge as they are going to be without Taylor so other players are going to have to step up in his absence. So while an injury to a RB hurts Bossman it has the opposite effect for HHH as M. Gordon now steps into a starting role in Denver due to the J. Williams injury and it looks likely that J. Williams also stays as the RB1 in Detroit for another week. All that said, I think HHH finds a way to get the upset this week and get their 2nd win on the season.

DaUnderdog (4-0) vs Rapids Plungers (2-2)
DaUnderdog did something last week that they had never done in their previous 18 years in the league and that is start out a season at 4-0! This has been a fun ride for our reigning champ and it seems they have no plans to relinquish that trophy or at least not with out a fight! Rapids Plungers is doing what I would call a pretty normal scenario through 4 weeks of the season as they are looking to build out their roster. They are one of the best in the business of finding diamonds in the rough / rookies that may not produce right away but become regular contributors down the road. At 2-2., I expect them to start making their run and climb up the ranks soon!
Prediction:
A healthy M. Thomas would make things look a lot different for Rapids Plungers this week but as of this writing he has yet to practice so his availability for this week isn’t looking great. I am going to assume he is out again this week. I still see this as being a relatively close game as despite his struggles over the past three weeks I see G. Davis having a big game for Rapids Plungers this week. However, I like the overall talent for DaUnderdog (and I said I wouldn’t pick against the champ until they lose). Look for DaUnderdog to remain undefeated on the season and keep their winning streak alive!
***It is worth pointing out that Rapids Plungers has historically dominated this matchup!***

teamAlaska (4-0) vs pack slayer (2-2)
I talked a lot about in the recap last week but teamAlaska is off to a ridiculously good start to the season. A lot of the things I said about Bossman and the draft could also be said about teamAlaska as they have the top QB in L. Jackson, J, Jefferson is currently sitting at #5 for WR’s but he is a 40 point game waiting to happen and they have the top RB in the league through 4 weeks. That is going to win you a lot of games and for teamAlaska it has won them all of the games so far! Can they continue that streak this week? pack slayer is the team standing in their way and this is very much a prove it type of game for them. They are coming off back to back wins but they have been against the two teams that have scored the least amount of points through 4 weeks so those are games they should win if they want to ultimately get to where they want to be. This however is a different type of game and win here would put them on the map as a team to watch out for! Can pack slayer pull off the upset?
Prediction:
Maybe? pack slayer actually gets a big boost this week as N. Hines becomes the RB1 in Indy now that JT is not playing but going up against a good Denver D may limit his upside and it wouldn’t surprise me to see P. Lindsay get some of the early down work. CMC has a tough matchup this week against a stout SF Defense. I look at teamAlaska and you L. Jackson against the Bengals in what seems to be setup as a shootout type of game and J. Jefferson seems likely to torch the Bears secondary. I like teamAlaska to keep things rolling and get their 5th win in a row!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 11
- Record: Advantage pack slayer at 7-4
- PPG Avg: Advantage pack slayer 121.35 to 115.90
Sportsfreak (2-2) vs Starrfavrerodg (1-3)
I got a minute to catch up with the coach of Starrfavrerodg after another close week and only this time losing vs the week prior when they got the W but it was evident that the frustration of the loss and their start to the season was starting to weigh on them. I am sure this was a long week for them and this becomes a big early season matchup to avoid falling to a 1-4 hole. Sportsfreak has been hit hard with the injury bug especially at the RB position. They should however get A. Kamara back this week but we know Patterson is out and it looks likely that Swift will miss his second straight game. Not ideal as Sportsfreak looks to stop their two game losing streak.
Prediction:
I don’t see how this game doesn’t yet again come down to the Sunday / Monday night games which is the norm for Starrfavrerodg this season. The big names playing in those games are J. Chase (Sun Night) and J. Jacobs for Starrfavrerodg and D. Waller for Sportsfreak. This is the toughest one for me to pick but I like Starrfavrerodg in this one thanks to a big game from Chase in Primetime!
