Starrfavrerodg (148.43) vs Pack Attack (108.85)
Starrfavrerodg (3-4) was tired of having games come down to the wire so they just decided to take care of business before the Sunday and Monday night games even started! They went out this week and had their best week of the season thanks in large part to J. Chase (31.50) and J. Jacobs (36.13) AND DJ Moore finally showed up and had his best game of the season. It is hard to know what to predict for some of these players moving forward but if you are Starrfavrerodg you have to be feeling better about things after a week like this! They will look to move back to .500 next week as they go up against BIGBOY!
Rapids Plungers (82.80) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (74.90)
A win is a win and that’s about all Rapids Plungers (4-3) can say about this week and thankfully that is all that matters! I expected a lower scoring game and we certainly got it. For Rapids Plungers to get through this bye week with a win could huge as they make their push playoff positioning. On the flip side, 16hrs (2-5) missed a golden opportunity to get back into the race and now will have their work cut out for them as they look to turn things around.
HHH (170.55) vs Big Papa (137.67)
HHH is on a roll as they move to 4-3 on the season and now have won 4 straight games! They really have been dominate in this 4 game winning streak as their closest game was a 22 point win over Bossman. This win moved them all the way up to 4th in the standings and they also have scored the second most amount of points in the league. All of this is important because with 5 teams having 4-3 records the tie breaking scenarios of points scored are going to be a big thing when playoff time and seeding starts happening. Burrow has been on a hot streak lately and we all know what he can do when he gets hot, just ask DaUnderdog as he was able to ride that streak all the way to a championship last season. Big Papa (4-3) didn’t have a bad game and in fact they had the 4th highest scoring week but when you play the team with the most points it’s going to be tough. They were however able to compete despite C. Kupp being sidelined due to his bye and J. Conner out due to injury.
teamAlaska (121.88) vs BIGBOY! (80.51)
A sign of a good team is when I look at the week and I see L. Jackson (6.33 pts), N. Chubb with an average 14.87 points, J. Jefferson on a bye week and no other offensive player scoring more then 15 points and yet they scored 121 and beat their opponent by 40! This teamAlaska (6-1) squad is for real and have to be one of the favorites barring injury to win it all! On the other side, I think we are seeing that this BIGBOY! team is not even as good as their record may show. At 3-4 they are very much in the thick of things for a playoff spot based on their record but are they really “in the thick of things”? I am not sure I think they are at this point and they have a lot of work ahead of them in the last half of the season if they want to make a playoff run.
Bossman (115.90) vs DaUnderdog (86.69)
I know this was looked at as the game of the week simply because of the records and rightfully so however this one turned out how I expected. I think I even mentioned a 30 point win for Bossman in the preview? DaUnderdog (5-2) really missed J. Allen in this one but thankfully this week is over and they don’t have to worry about that for the remainder of the season. With this win Bossman moves to 5-2 on the season and all the way up to 2nd place in the standings. Bossman has been very consistent in their scoring this season as they have had 4 games where they scored between 107 and 119. That will win games in most weeks but as the season progresses and we hit playoff time they will need a bit more firepower and that is what I would like to see from this team over the second half of the season. DaUnderdog has now lost two of their last 3 games and have failed to score over 100 the past two weeks. Should we be concerned with this team? I am not sure yet but a HUGE game next week against the current #1 overall team in teamAlaska may answer that question.
pack slayer (109.09) vs U Don’t Know (76.46)
This was a big win for pack slayer as they have now won 4 of their last 5 games and are sitting at 4-3 on the season. Anytime you can pull off a W with your starting QB and one of your best WR’s on a bye you had a good week and that is what happened for pack slayer. pack slayer has been moving pieces around, making trades trying to put their best team out on the field and make a run at this thing in the second half. They have some tough games ahead but they have done a nice job of putting together a more balanced team over the course of the last couple of weeks. U Don’t Know falls fast and hard to 4-3 on the season. They had been riding high these past two weeks averaging 145 PPG and looked like a team that may make some noise but then this week happened and not only did they lose bad but they also lost one of the best young RB’s in the league (B. Hall) to an ACL tear. That is going to be a tough one to overcome but they do get Diggs back off of his bye week this week but overall a tough week for U Don’t Know!
Sportsfreak (141.44) vs PackerFANatic7 (88.50)
And the streak is over, at least for Sportsfreak as they stopped their 4 game losing streak and moved to 3-4 on the season. They were finally able to put together a complete game as they had 7 players score more then 11 points! T. Boyd led the way with 31 points. The only bad news in this one is the fact that M. Williams was injured and looks like he will miss multiple weeks. Not a good thing for a team trying to make a playoff push in the second half of the season. For PackerFANatic7 they now fall to 1-6 on the season and are basically relegated to the fact that they need to run the table in order to get to the playoffs. I know it is silly to even be talking about it but that’s where things are at. They will get a chance to start that winning streak next week against pack slayer!
That’s it for this week everyone. Have a great week!
