My Picks Record:
Last Week: 4-2
Overall: 29-13
U Don’t Know (4-3) vs Pack Attack (1-6)
If the playoffs were starting today U Don’t Know would be in as the #6 seed. That’s good news! Another bit of good news for this team is that in their final 7 games they get to play the 3 currently lowest scoring teams in the league and it starts this week with Pack Attack. For teams with playoff aspirations these type of games become must wins! This looks like a good bounce back spot for U Don’t Know!

16hrs Ahead of You!! (2-5) vs Bossman (5-2)
Bossman is coming off back to back wins against two quality opponents and now they get to go up against a desperate 16hrs squad that needs a win to get back into the playoff race. Bossman has arguably the deepest team in the league as just about every player on their bench could start for most teams in the league. This will come in handy when bye weeks start hitting or worse injury. It is also worth pointing out that Bossman has thoroughly dominated this matchup winning 14 of their 16 games. Will it change this week?
Prediction:
No. I look at the 16hrs team and I see some areas that they will be able to score some points like Henry against Houston but I just don’t see enough firepower for them to keep up. Look for Bossman to get a relatively easy win in this one and move to 6-2 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 16
- Record: Advantage Bossman at 14-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage Bossman 136.98 to 108.59
Big Papa (4-3) vs Rapids Plungers (4-3)
This is a fun mid season matchup between two teams trying to separate themselves from the pack of 5 teams with 4-3 records. A lot can and will change between now and the end of the season but we usually have a few teams every year that it comes down to the last week to determine their playoff fate. These two teams have been consistently hovering around that .500 mark all season, which leads me to believe they could be part of that group battling in the last week. Making a win here that much more important.
Prediction:
Big Papa had Kupp on a bye last week and lost. This week they have Mahomes on a bye and I think the results will be the same.. a loss. Rapids Plungers got a boost last week when J. Robinson was traded making T. Etienne a strong play for the remainder of the year and M. Thomas looks close to returning. I could see this being a close game but I expect Rapids Plungers to get win #5.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 20
- Record: Advantage Big Papa at 8-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 120.98 to 120.04
starrfavrerodg (3-4) vs BIGBOY! (3-4)
Both of these teams come into this game with identical 3-4 records however they are not the same. BIGBOY! has scored over 100 points only 2 times this year while starrfavrerodg has scored over 100 in every game except 2. Starrfavrerodg averages 117ppg while BIGBOY! is averaging 93ppg. This game is important for both teams. Starrfavrerodg is coming off a win against Pack Attack and would like to finally get their first winning streak of the season while BIGBOY! is trying to avoid losing their third straight.
Prediction:
BIGBOY! has some work to do with their roster so I am not 100% sure how this is going to look but I don’t see them winning this one either way. I do think they have a shot and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them winning going into Monday nights game. starrfavrerodg is the better team and knows all about games coming down to the wire. The difference here is that they will have J. Chase to close things out and I fully expect him to lead this team to victory. starrfavrerodg moves back to .500 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 2
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 2-0
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 135.78 to 105.20
DaUnderdog (5-2) vs teamAlaska (6-1)
Game of the Week! This is now back to back weeks where DaUnderdog will be involved in the game of the week. The good news for them is that this time they will have J. Allen. These two teams have been at or battling for the top of the leaderboard since week 1 and now they get to meet head to head. I wouldn’t say both teams are coming into this one struggling as they have only lost a combined 3 times all year but the last two weeks have been the worst for both teams. DaUnderdog hasn’t scored 100 points the past two weeks and the usually consistent teamAlaska has scored 86 and 121. A win here for teamAlaska and DaUnderdog suddenly has 3 losses and likely falls to a low playoff seeding. A win here for DaUnderdog and they ensure at a minimum a tie for first place in the standings! This is a big one!
Prediction:
I was happy to see that both teams are at close to full strength this week. DaUnderdog may be without DK Metcalf and teamAlaska will be missing CEH. This should be a good game and it very well may come down to which QB (L. Jackson or J. Allen) comes up with that 30 to 40 point game. Interestingly enough as bad as the Packers are playing so far this season they have been 7th best against the pass. Some of that may be due to the fact that they can’t stop the run and I do not think the Bills will be content running it 30 times. I think both QB’s end up close to the same #’s but Lamar and teamAlaska coming out on top. Lamar plays tonight so that should set the tone for this game. teamAlaska gets win # 7 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 18
- Record: Advantage DaUnderdog at 13-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage DaUnderdog 110.95 to 95.42
HHH (4-3) vs Sportsfreak (3-4)
HHH is on fire right now as they have won 4 straight games while Sportsfreak was able to break out of their 4 game losing streak with a win against PackerFANatic7 last week. Most teams throughout a season have some tough stretches and Sportsfreak is hoping that they just endured there’s and they can get back to making a run here in the second half of the season. HHH with a win here has the possibility of moving themselves all the way up into the #2 spot in the league which is crazy considering they didn’t get their first win of the season until Week 4!
Prediction:
If there was ever two teams that are happy to be playing each other on a tough bye week it is these two teams as they both have some of the top skill position players from the Chargers on a bye. HHH will be without Ekeler and Everett while Sportsfreak will be without M. Williams and J. Herbert. Sportsfreak should be getting Swift back this week which is great news for them moving forward. Not having Ekeler is a big blow for HHH but Sportsfreak missing Herbert and Williams is bigger. Burrow has been playing lights out for HHH and it has been Burrow to Chase and Boyd the last couple of weeks which means Higgins is due for a 6/100/1 line in this one. HHH with the win in a close one!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 20
- Record: Advantage Sportsfreak at 11-9
- PPG Avg: Advantage HHH 116.91 to 116.58
pack slayer (4-3) vs PackerFANatic7 (1-6)
pack slayer has won two straight games and now gets to go up against one of the worst teams in the league to try and make it three straight. It hasn’t necessarily been impressive but they have themselves setup nicely to make a run here in the second half and this could be just the game and opponent they need to keep things rolling. PackerFANatic7 has had a rough start to the season and if they want any chance… well there isn’t much of a chance but if they do want to feel like there is a chance this is a must win game! This one is also intriguing because it has the two teams who just completed the biggest trade in the league so far this year. It will be interesting to see if the outcome is somehow tied to the trade that just happened. Does CMC go off for 40 to lead PackerFANatic7 to the win or will we see Hopkins and St. Brown dominate to lead pack slayer to the W?
Prediction:
PackerFANatic7 hasn’t been able to break the 100 point mark since week 2 but I think they may actually come close this week and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them get there and you know what.. I actually kind of like them to pull off the upset this week. I am going with PackerFANatic7 to shock pack slayer and get the W.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 5
- Record: Advantage PackerFANatic7 at 3-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage PackerFANatic7 128.97 to 128.71
