My Picks Record:
Last Week: 5-1
Overall: 9-3
pack slayer (2-0) vs Pack Attack (2-0)
Last week Pack Attack played in a game that surprisingly after week 1 it was the only game where two 1-0 teams met. Moving on to this week, this game is again the only matchup where both teams have yet to lose. I know it is early but we know that there will be at most 4 undefeated teams after this week. pack slayer regressed a bit last week in scoring as they barely got over 100 points in the win. The major difference was the scoring for Tua who in week 1 had 33 points but followed that up with only 9 last week. The big news in this one outside of two 2-0 teams going up against each other is the injuries specifically for pack slayer as they will be without one of the best players in S. Barkley this week. That is a tough loss and it will be interesting to see how they adapt this week.

16hrs Ahead of You!! (1-1) vs DaUnderdog (0-2)
16hrs ahead of you is coming off their first win of the season and they will look to put together a little mini winning streak in this one as they are going up against the winless DaUnderdog squad. DaUnderdog has really been struggling going back to the end of last season. Last season they started strong winning their first 4 games but since then and including this season they are 2-10 and including the end of last season they have now lost 7 games in a row. That is the 2nd longest losing streak of their career and with a loss this week they would tie their longest ever. Something they will be doing their best to avoid!
For 16hrs a win here would get them above .500 on the season and yes I know we have only played 3 games but this is a team that has historically struggled as they have only 1 winning season in the last 12 years. They are hoping to change the narrative around their team where being above .500 after 3 weeks is celebrated but for now… it is cause for celebration if they can get there.
Prediction:
I think it is time to celebrate for 16hrs as I like them to win this one. I expect a close game and the winning team getting just above that 100 mark. I think that 16hrs has a couple of more players that I trust but I will say that I don’t love their matchups. I do like L Jackson to have his best game of the season along with AJ Brown (you know they are going to feed him the ball after his whining incident last week). The path for DaUnderdog to win this one goes through Kelce. If he has one of those 30 point eruption kind of games which I am predicting a 20 point effort but I am not sure he can get to the 30 mark. 16hrs by 10!

Big Papa (0-2) vs teamAlaska (0-2)
It’s always fun to look at the schedule to see when the rematch of the Super Bowl will be played and we didn’t have to wait long for this one. You expected it would be an important game for both teams when it did happen what you didn’t necessarily expect is that both teams would be winless and the importance of the game is that neither team wants to fall into an ugly 0-3 hole to start the season. 0-2 is bad no matter what but there is bad 0-2 and then there is ugly 0-2. Right now, Big Papa would be in that ugly category as they have failed to score over 85 points in either of the first two weeks and are really struggling. teamAlaska has been keeping things competitive and their lowest scoring week was 110 points. This is a big week for both teams and even though these are veteran managers and they know how to get out of slumps but no one wants to try and dig out of a 0-3 hole.
Prediction:
Going into the season, I was and still am high on T Lawrence. He has not been great through two weeks and that is part of the reason for Big Papa’s struggles. I expect his best game of the season this week as it feels like he is primed for 30 point effort and I also like N Collins to have another solid week as they will be playing keep up with the Jags and DJ Moore seems like a solid play in a game where Chicago should be trailing (well, I guess that is going to be most games this season) but maybe they are trailing by more than usual this game? Is that enough for Big Papa to get the win? Nope. I think that is going to be enough to help them have their best week of the season but I think teamAlaska will continue their trend of scoring at least 110 points and that should be enough for them to get the win. teamAlaska with win #1.

BIGBOY! (2-0) vs Sportsfreak (1-1)
BIGBOY! is coming off of the big win last week in the Father-Son matchup and now they get to try for the “Lindgren Sweep” as they go up against their brother this week in a Bro-Bro matchup. Historically this game between these two is about as close as you can get. Sportsfreak has the edge at 7-6 but look at that PPG Avg! They are separated by .21 points! What’s even better is that the average points scored is high which means these games have been more in the shootout type of variety! I did a little more digging and over the past 5 games however BIGBOY! has dominated! Winning 4 of their last 5 meetings and 3 in a row. This has been a good week for BIGBOY! as they got the win but they also made one of the better FA pickups by grabbing Jerome Ford on Sunday afternoon BEFORE the injury to Chubb as had he got to waivers he likely wouldn’t have been high enough to get him. So he got the win, got the #1 waiver claim of the week AND didn’t need to lose his waiver order! That’s a solid week right there. Can they cap it off with another win this week?
Prediction:
This matchup is weird! Let me explain. We have K. Cousins for BIGBOY! going up against J Herbert for Sportsfreak and in real life football the Vikings are playing the Chargers. So that’s fun. BIGBOY! has M. Williams so while Sportsfreak wants J Herbert to of course have a big game he doesn’t want M Williams to catch any of those passes or TD’s. Wait there is more… Sportsfreak has C. Ridley and Etienne for Jax so they are hoping that JAX offense has a solid week BUT BIGBOY! has Z Jones so none of that good offense from JAX can go to him (if you are rooting for Sportsfreak). Lastly and maybe the one that will decide the game is that BIGBOY! has J. Waddle while Sportsfreak has T Hill. Both teams want a shootout but all of the yards, catches and TD’s to go to their guy! Interesting for sure but I think I know who wins. Here is how I see it. Herbert > Cousins, T Hill > Waddle, Ridley > Z Jones and while I like M Williams, K Allen has been the WR you have wanted so far from the Chargers. I think Sportsfreak finds a way to get the win in this one in what should be another great game!

- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: Sportsfreak at 7-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage Sportsfreak 120.24 to 120.03
Bossman (2-0) vs PackerFANatic7 (1-1)
Bossman is coming off that dominating 180 point effort last week and they will be looking to keep things going this week against a PackerFANtic7 team that just got their first win of the season last week. There is not too many more things to be said about Bossman and their success other then they clearly know how to get it done each week even when we strategically make them the last pick in the draft… wait…. I mean their name was drawn first out of the hat at random! PackerFANatic7 has done one thing better then most teams since they joined the league 6 years ago and that is beat Bossman! Their are only 4 teams that have a winning record against Bossman and PackerFANatic7 happens to be one of them. Can they keep it going this week and cool down the red hot Bossman team!?
Prediction:
I don’t think so. If I knew that both C Watson and Ekeler were going to play and not be limited that for sure changes things but I have my doubts on Ekeler and hamstring injuries are usually tricky and they don’t get a full workload right out of the gate. I like Bossman to keep the winning streak alive this week and move to 3-0 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 6
- Record: Advantage PackerFANatic7 at 4-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage PackerFANatic7 123.64 to 111.11
Starrfavrerodg (1-1) vs Rapids Plungers (2-0)
I just talked about the success of Bossman in the regular season and I could say the same thing for Rapids Plungers as him and Bossman are #1 and #2 for the best regular season record of all time. I will keep talking about it and it will keep being a story until the rest of us in the league figure out a way to beat them! Speaking of that, Starrfavrerodg has seemingly figured that out better then anyone as they are 3-1 against Rapids Plungers. That is significant because Rapids Plungers only has a losing record to three teams and Starrfavrerodg is one of them. Starrfavrerodg has proven over the course of the last 3 seasons that they can compete with the big dogs and while they are the newest member of the league still I don’t think anyone views them as the “newbie” anymore. This is a viable team with a viable coach that keeps finding ways to win! Can they do it this week and get the upset over Rapids Plungers?
Prediction:
While they have historically had a lot of success against Rapids Plungers I don’t see them winning this week. I am not convinced that A Jones plays and D. Jones is going up against a tough 49ers D on a short week and not to mention B Aiyuk is banged up, I think that will be too much for them to overcome. I like Rapids Plungers to keep things going and remain undefeated on the season!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 4
- Record: Advantage Starrfavrerodg at 3-1
- PPG Avg: Advantage Starrfavrerodg 126.91 to 124.19
HHH (0-2) vs U Don’t Know (0-2)
Two teams, 0 wins and that alone makes this a interesting game! No team wants to start out in that 0-3 hole! To see these two teams at 0-2 and knowing one of them will move to 0-3 after this week is somewhat surprising given how well they have been playing in recent years. U Don’t Know has had 5 straight winning seasons including a Super Bowl win while HHH has had 4 winning seasons in their last 5. Whoever loses this one isn’t done by no means as clearly these two teams know how to win but they will certainly have their work cut out for them the rest of the year to try and keep those winning seasons intact.
Prediction:
Injuries in fantasy football are the worst especially when they involve one of your top players as that is exactly what HHH is dealing with by losing N Chubb for the year. That is a tough one to overcome and I don’t see them doing it this week. I expect them to fight but in the end I have U Don’t Know getting their first win of the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 18
- Record: Advantage U Don’t Know at 10-8
- PPG Avg: Advantage U Don’t Know 116.82 to 110.94
