Pack Attack (176.98) vs HHH (92.08)
Pack Attack gets this win this week to move to 3-1 on the season and sending HHH to an 0-4 start. The 176 points scored by Pack Attack was the most they have scored in a week since the 2015 season when they scored 181 against Bossman. The 3-1 start is also their best start since all the way back to the 2012 season (yes over a decade ago) when they started 6-0. HHH is now the lone winless team in the league and it doesn’t get any easier as they go up against the undefeated Rapids Plungers team in Week 5.
16hrs Ahead of You!! (145.24) vs PackerFANatic7 (83.60)
16hrs (2-2) seems determined to not fall into the big hole they have in past years as they move back to .500 on the season with an impressive win over PackerFANatic7 who falls to 1-3 on the season. This was the best game of the year for 16hrs as they had three players score over 26 points (L Jackson, AJ Brown and D Henry). They also were able to put up 145 points without their DEF starting. Word of advice for you 16hrs the players on your bench don’t count towards your weekly score. PackerFANatic7 loses again and is really struggling right now. They got 25 points from J Hurts and 10 from both Metcalf and J Cook but outside of that no one else broke the 10 point barrier. This is normally where I try to find something positive and say something like despite their 1-3 record they…. have done something good… well for PackerFANatic7 despite their 1-3 record they could easily be 0-4 as if you recall they won in Week 2 by 0.47 points. They also have scored the third fewest points in the league. This is not a good team right now but they do have a manager that won’t be giving up and will be trying to find the right combination of players to turn this thing around.
Big Papa (138.75) vs Sportsfreak (107.03)
This was a HUGE win for Big Papa (1-3). Much like their beloved Vikings they were able to get the win this week to avoid an 0-4 start and save their season. You knew that the reigning champ wasn’t going to go down without a fight and no matter the record I expect them to put the most competitive team possible moving forward. The question is will it be enough to get back to the playoffs? I don’t know but they were carried this week by 6 players who all 10+ with 4 players scoring over 21. The other 5 positions struggled as only one of them was able to score more then 2 points. They are going to need to spread things out a bit as a team to continue to win ball games. For Sportsfreak (2-2) this was a disappointing loss. Things had been looking promising coming into the week as they were coming off their best performance but then this week they had their worst week of the season and struggled to find points. The silver lining here is that there won’t be too many weeks where T Hill and C Ridley both score under 10 points and yet Sportsfreak still was able to get over the 100 point mark to give themselves a chance. It wasn’t enough this week however and now they go up against the undefeated Bossman team in week 5.
Bossman (156.65) vs BIGBOY! (81.10)
So last week in the recap I mentioned that the one knock on this team was that it seemed they were riding the wave of K. Allen and his stellar play to start the season. This week K. Allen scores 10.60 points but the results were exactly the same as Bossman once again dominates their opponent. The last three weeks they have outscored their opponents 494.32 to 288.94! They have won by an average of 68.46 points the last three weeks! Is this even fun anymore Bossman!? The win moves them to 4-0 on the season and showing no signs of slowing down. BIGBOY! falls to 2-2 and picked a bad time to have their worst week of the season! Or maybe it was a good time to get it out of the way now in a game that would have been hard for them to win even with their best effort. BIGBOY! was led by their DEF who scored 13 points. That summarizes the kind of day they had. They will be hoping to get C Kupp back soon and they may need him to turn this thing around!
DaUnderdog (94.07) vs U Don’t Know (59.96)
DaUnderdog comes away with their 2nd win in a row and now sit at 2-2 on the season! It wasn’t pretty and in fact they were the only team this week that won their game and didn’t score at least 138 points! They had 4 players score in double figures (Prescott, Godwin, Thielen, and Doubs) but the rest of the team struggled including Mixon, Stevenson and Kelce who going into the season those three seemed like the core group of players that would lead DaUnderdog throughout the season. For them to get the win on a week like this is huge and could make a big difference as the season goes along. U Don’t Know (1-3) becomes the second team in as many weeks to fail to hit 60 points. As good as things looked for them the previous week they looked equally as bad this week. Mahomes and chase combined for 20 points and with the way this team is setup that is not going to cut it! They fall to 1-3 and have some work ahead of them!
Rapids Plungers (159.42) vs pack slayer (77.36)
I have been talking a lot about the domination of Bossman the last three weeks well Rapids Plungers isn’t far behind as they once again dominate their opponent to move to 4-0 on the season. In the last two weeks they have outscored their opponents 278.38 to 136.80 and won by an average of 70.79 points! What’s even more impressive is that this week they scored 159 points while one of their top weapons (D Samuel) only scored 0.40! They got 30 point games from both Fields and Diggs and were glad to see A Kamara back and his 18 points! We have to wait awhile for the Bossman vs Rapids Plungers matchup but the way things are going they both very well may be undefeated going into that week! pack slayer (3-1) laid an egg! This was hyped up as the game of the week with two undefeated teams going at it but it certainly didn’t live up to the hype. Was it the pressure? Or a sign of things to come for this team but for one week they really struggled. I suspect this is more of a anomaly type of game as their roster seems too good and with S Barkley back soon they should be able to get back on track in the coming weeks. They will be looking forward to putting this one behind them!
Starrfavrerodg (154.96) vs teamAlaska (96.71)
Fantasy football is hard to figure out sometimes. Last week Starrfavrerodg fell to 1-2 on the season and not only did they lose but they lost while only scoring 59 points. It was ugly! A week later and they move to 2-2 on the season while scoring 154 points and if the season were to end today they would be a playoff team! If you look at the full 4 weeks it does seem like last week’s performance may end up being purely a really bad week as this team has scored over 125 points in the other three weeks. Let’s see if they can continue this and put together a little winning streak starting next week. teamAlaska falls to 1-3 and just had their worst week of the season. Prior to this their worst week had been 110 points. They have been playing better then their 1-3 record shows but at the end of the day the record is what matters. They will need to find ways to get some W’s if they want to turn their season around!
That’s it for this week everyone. Have a great week!
