My Picks Record:
Last Week: 4-2
Overall: 23-7
PackerFANatic7 (1-4) vs Pack Attack (4-1)
These two teams come into this game looking very different then they did just a week ago. PackerFANatic7 looks drastically different due to a huge trade which we highlighted last week. Pack Attack looks very different because they had three starters put on IR this week (Conner, Jefferson & Achane). These three players in the last three games that they were healthy have averaged 76ppg! That’s a big loss for Pack Attack as they look to keep their good start going. The good news is that non of them appear to be season ending. PackerFANatic7 comes into this one really needing to find a way to win and get something moving in the right direction. The door is certainly open with the aforementioned injuries. It will be interesting to see if they can take advantage of that to get win #2 on the season!

16hrs Ahead of You!! (2-3) vs Sportsfreak (3-2)
Sportsfreak is coming off their best week of the season as they put up 178 points on their way to taking down the then previously unbeaten Bossman team. 16hrs on the other hand it coming off their worst week of the season, not only did they score their fewest amount of points (92) they also lost by a mere 1 point! That’s tough. As I was looking into these two teams one thing I found interesting is the points scored and allowed for 16hrs through 5 games. Points scored = 546.69, points allowed = 546.59. Yep, .10 points apart through 5 games. It doesn’t mean anything other then I found it interesting. There is also one historical item I find interesting. 16hrs has a winning record against one team and one team only and that happens to be Sportsfreak. Not only do they beat them but they have seemed to really dominate over the course of their 19 games. Does that continue this week?
Prediction:
I really like this game and while I am not sure I agree with the score yahoo has projected I do agree with how close this one could be. I expect this one to come down to the Monday night game where Sportsfreak has J Herbert and Q Johnson remaining. They will be down by 21 points and Herbert makes it interesting but they can only score 19 and 16hrs wins by 2. 121 to 119.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 19
- Record: Advantage 16hrs at 12-7
- PPG Avg: Advantage 16hrs 120.60 to 108.88
Big Papa (2-3) vs Bossman (4-1)
It’s crazy how much can change in two weeks. Two weeks ago the reigning champ, Big Papa was looking down and out. They had just lost their third straight game to start the season at 0-3 and what made it worse or seem more bleak is that in those three losses their highest scoring week was 85 points. It was hard to see them breaking out of that slump anytime soon. However, they did just that and amazingly the last two weeks have scored 138 and 173! 173 last week! In the first three weeks combined they had only scored 230! That’s an impressive turnaround and now they get to go up against one of the best teams in the league in Bossman to get one step closer to that .500 mark! Bossman is coming off their first loss of the season. This was their first week after trading away 4 of their players. Could it have had something to do with the loss? Are their other players worried they will be next and now playing timid? If they lose again this week we may be on to something!
Prediction:
I really like what Big Papa has done to turn their season around. I didn’t see it coming but props to them! However, this week.. against Bossman.. I am not sure. DJ Moore could have another monster game against a terrible Vikings secondary and N. Collins seems to only have good games in even weeks (he averages 6.21 points on the odd weeks and 31.35 on the even weeks) so he should be due for a big game. Bossman has a tough matchup for Hurts and Ekeler but outside of that the other players look to be in good shape for solid games. I do think this could be close but I don’t see Bossman losing two in a row. Bossman with the win.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 17
- Record: Advantage Bossman at 11-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage Bossman 122.38 to 110.91
BIGBOY! (3-2) vs U Don’t Know (2-3)
U Don’t Know is coming off their best week of the season thanks in large part to a monster game from J Chase. When you draft a player like Chase with the 2nd overall pick you expect that he will put up games like this and will be consistently helping you win games. That had been a bit of a mixed bag with Chase but U Don’t Know is hoping that the winning type of production will continue. BIGBOY! won another improbable game last week and are finally looking healthy. That certainly bodes well for them moving forward but I am not sure what to think of this team. Right now, I would say they are an average (not playoff) team that found a way to win 3 games. Now that they are healthy however it will be interesting to see if they can change my mind!
Prediction:
Mahomes is going up against the worst pass defense this week in the Broncos so that should lead to a big game for him and U Don’t Know. BIGBOY! does have R Rice for KC so he will be hoping that all of the passing volume goes to one player and that Rice can keep pace with Mahomes. I like Waddle and Kupp for BIGBOY! this week. I expect this one to be close but I do like BIGBOY! a little more. I don’t like B Hall’s matchup against the Eagles and that matters given he has 30 point upside. BIGBOY! to move to 4-2 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: U Don’t Know at 7-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage U Don’t Know 121.32 to 120.75
Rapids Plungers (5-0) vs DaUnderdog (2-3)
Rapids Plungers will be looking to make it 6 in a row to start the season! I know none of the other fantasy managers want to hear this but the last time Rapids Plungers started a season this strong was back in 2019 when they won their first Super Bowl! That season they started 8-0! They will be looking to keep things rolling this week against DaUnderdog who is coming off a loss last week to Pack Attack but prior to that had won two in a row. We saw Sportsfreak rise to the challenge and take down the previously unbeaten Bossman team, can DaUnderdog do the same this week and take down Rapids Plungers?
Prediction:
Let’s take a look. I like 4 players for Rapids Plungers this week, Fields / Diggs / Mostert / Kamara. I expect the bulk of their scoring to come from these 4 players. For DaUnderdog, I like Kelce / Thielen / Mixon & I actually kind of like D Prescott this week in a bounce back game. With that said, I think the star power for Rapids Plungers wins out and they continue to keep things rolling. I could see this being closer then many may think but in the end I like Rapids Plungers to move to 6-0!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 16
- Record: Advantage Rapids Plungers at 13-3
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 131.79 to 107.17
HHH (0-5) vs teamAlaska (1-4)
Ok, I know it is only week 6 but this is a MUST win for HHH. If they lose here it becomes a situation where they start focusing on how do I win at least one game and try not to finish in last place vs any type of situation where they feel like they can save their season. teamAlaska isn’t far behind them, however if they find a way to win here and get that 2nd win of the season they put themselves in position to make a run in the second half of the season.
Prediction:
I like to find a scenario for the underdog (HHH) in this case to come away with the win. I tried, I tried again, and then I tried some more. Nope. Couldn’t find a scenario. It is so bad for HHH right now that they are left with starting two backup RB’s from the SAME team! I think teamAlaska wins this one rather easily and HHH falls to a dreadful 0-6 start!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 20
- Record: Advantage teamAlaska at 13-7
- PPG Avg: Advantage HHH 117.50 to 115.60
Pack slayer (4-1) vs Starrfavrerodg (2-3)
pack slayer has been quietly putting together a really nice season. They are off to their best start since the 2013 season when they started out at 6-0. They have had this nice start without one of their top weapons out there in Saquon Barkley. He looks to be close to coming back and that could really bolster this lineup moving forward. Starrfavrerodg has been one of those boom or busts type of teams through 5 weeks. You just hope you get to play them on the bust week. Last week was a bust week for them and now they are dealing with bye weeks to some key players. Historically this matchup has favored pack slayer as they have won 3 of the 4 meetings. However, they have all been super close so close in fact that despite their 3-1 record against Starrfavrerodg they are trailing in scoring by 15ppg in those meetings. Kind of a weird stat but the wins and losses are all that matter and right now pack slayer is winning in that category. So who wins this game?
Prediction:
Is there a path for Starrfavrerodg to win? Yes, but barely. Everything would have to go perfectly and I don’t see it happening. CMC is up against a good Cleveland D so a 40 point outburst doesn’t seem likely. Aiyuk is also in that same category. Howell to McLaurin has some potential and M Brown has been solid but I see them having a hard time getting to that 100 point mark this week. pack slayer has been consistent scoring over 100 points each week except one. I expect them to do the same this week and that should be enough for the W. pack slayer with win #5.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 4
- Record: Advantage pack slayer at 3-1
- PPG Avg: Advantage starrfavrerodg 120.23 to 105.67
