Pack Attack (121.79) vs PackerFANatic7 (103.88)
Pack Attack (5-1) was able to find a way to their 5th win of the season thanks to a big game from K Williams and really after that it was their Kicker who scored 18 points along with the KC D who put up 14. PackerFANatic7 (1-5) put up a good fight by getting 29pts from A St Brown and then K Allen and his 17pts on Monday night made it interesting but they needed some production from their other players and they just couldn’t find it this week. They are now 1-5 and left with a bunch of must win type of games remaining if they want to save their season!
16hrs Ahead of You!! (113.38) vs Sportsfreak (108.42)
There were two games this week that came down to the wire and this was one of them. 16hrs (3-3) came into the Monday night game with a 24.68 point lead over Sportsfreak (3-3). 16hrs didn’t have anyone playing while Sportsfreak had J Herbert, J Ferguson and Q Johnston. Sportsfreak had to feel somewhat confident as Herbert’s lowest scoring game this season has been 17 points and J Ferguson is a TE that was at least involved on a regular basis. Q Johnston hasn’t had more then 2.5 points in a game all season so to have him starting was a little interesting but still it seemed that Herbert alone could get to the 24.69 points needed. It started out strong for Sportsfreak with Herbert throwing a TD pass on his first drive but then things came to a screeching halt. Ferguson (1.75) did nothing and Johnston’s (.60) only scoring came from a tackle after an interception. It still came down to the last drive as Sportsfreak was down by 3 points and needed Herbert to throw a TD pass. Instead he threw an interception and the 16hrs dominance over Sportsfreak continues. Both teams are now sitting at 3-3 and will be looking to get over that .500 mark next week.
Big Papa (118.53) vs Bossman (99.41)
Don’t look now but the reigning champ is back in business! Big Papa (3-3) has now won three straight games and this turn around from 0-3 to now 3-3 is impressive to say the least! They have done the little things that you would expect from a veteran manager and team. This week they took down Bossman thanks in large part to the play of the 3 positions we all somewhat overlook (K, DEF, D). Those three positions combined for 37.55 points! That is huge and a great formula for winning games in this league. Bossman drops their 2nd game in a row and now has fallen to 4-2 on the season. Last week they didn’t play bad in a loss but they just got outscored which happens sometimes. This time, to fail to score 100 points for the first time all season and now have lost two in a row it becomes more concerning. Do I think this team somehow just turned into a bad team the last two weeks? No! I think this is still one of the better teams in the league and they will figure things out but this trade that happened when they were 4-0 and rolling and now since have gone 0-2? Could this be one of the things Bossman looks back on and regrets as the season progresses?
BIGBOY! (123.90) vs U Don’t Know (108.44)
BIGBOY! with the nice win in this one as they move their record to 4-2 on the season. I have mentioned it before but this team was finding ways to win while Kupp was out to injury and now that he is back they look much stronger. This was one of their better weeks of the season and no suprise it was Kupp who led the way with 25 points! In addition, Pitts is starting to show signs of life and Waddle just had his best game of the season. Is this a team that is ready to make a run? Seems like it is possible. U Don’t Know drops to 2-4 on the season and it isn’t hard to find the reason why. This team is going to be as good as Mahomes / Chase are. Those two play up to their draft positions and U Don’t Know is going to win a lot of games. When those two are mediocre, they are going to struggle it’s really that simple. This is a team with a fair amount of talent however and if J. Taylor can get back to a top tier RB form then this is a team that has the potential to dig out of this 2-4 hole.
DaUnderdog (137.31) vs Rapids Plungers (117.53)
Our last unbeaten team is no more as DaUnderdog (3-3) takes down Rapids Plungers (5-1) in an impressive win! DaUnderdog has been making a move these last few weeks as they have now won 3 of their last 4 games with this being by far the most impressive! Once again leading the way for DaUnderdog is Adam Thielen and his 27 points! I can’t even believe I am saying this but Thielen through 6 weeks is the # 5 WR in the league! Outside of maybe Puka Nacua there isn’t a more surprising start for a WR this season! DaUnderdog will look to get over .500 for the first time all season next week as they go up against teamAlaska. Rapids Plungers falls to 5-1 on the season and they were able to keep things competitive in this one despite losing Fields and D Samuel to injuries. This feels like a minor blip in the road for now and let’s see how Rapids Plungers responds to their first loss of the season.
teamAlaska (113.58) vs HHH (77.36)
teamAlaska comes out and does that they needed to do in this one as they get the easy win and move to 2-4 on the season. teamAlaska had been struggling the previous two weeks so to be able to get back into the win column has to feel good. I think this team is better then their record may say and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them make some noise in the coming weeks. HHH… Oh boy! I am not sure what to say about this team other then they may need to hope and pray a team has a really bad game against them one of these weeks as this team looks really bad! I mean like… will they win a game all year bad!? They are now 0-6 and have failed to score 100 points in each of their last 4 games and when they have yet to score more then 102 in a game all season. You never want to count a team out in week 6 but this team is done. They now just need to hope they can find a way to win a game and maybe get out of that last spot. They get to try to do just that against Starrfavrerodg next week.
pack slayer (116.56) vs Starrfavrerodg (113.16)
This turned out to be one of the better games of the week as pack slayer (5-1) and Starrfavrerodg (2-4) battled it out to the very end. pack slayer started things out strong with a nice game from their K on thursday night (18pts). Starrfavrerodg was able to battle back and held the lead after the Sunday afternoon games. They led by 12 going into the Sunday night game where pack slayer was finally getting Saquon back and they also had G Davis going. It sure seemed like pack slayer should get that 12 points and the win. Ultimately they did but it took until the 4th quarter to do it as G Davis (2.05) struggled but Saquon was able to do the rest and help pull out the 3 point win to move to 5-1 and the top of the standings! pack slayer has had one tough game against Rapids Plungers where they failed to score 100 but outside of that they have been relatively consistent at that 110 to 115 mark. Starrfavrerodg has got to be frustrated with this loss as CMC went down midway through the game due to injury and you would think he would have been able to get at least 3 more points and help lead them to the win but that has been Starrfavrerodg’s season so far. If they can get CMC and A Jones healthy along with some of the other players stepping up I think they can dig out of this 2-4 hole however with CMC maybe missing some time it is definitely going to be a challenge!
That’s it for this week everyone. Have a great week!
