My Picks Record:
Last Week: 5-1
Overall: 5-1
Starrfavrerodg (0-1) vs Pack Attack (0-1)
Both of these teams come into week 2 having lost in tough fashion. Starrfavrerodg saw Nacua go down to injury in a very winnable game against Bossman and Pack Attack had the #1 overall pick in CMC not end up playing in Week 1 and now seems likely he misses more time. Injuries happen in football and we all have to adjust and plan our rosters accordingly. Some more then others and right now these two teams are without their 1st round picks and will need to make some adjustments as they look to weather the storm. The good news for these two teams is that they are playing each other and one of them has to get the win! I don’t expect much scoring but a close game seems likely!

16hrs Ahead of You!! (1-0) vs Bossman (1-0)
This looks to be one of the better games of the week which is interesting given how lopsided this matchup has been over the years. Bossman has thoroughly dominated winning 16 of the 18 meetings! Not only is it 16 of the 18 meetings but they have beat them 15 times in a row! 15! The last win that 16hrs had over Bossman was in the 2009 season! That my friends is a crazy stat! 16hrs however is coming in with a lot of momentum from their week 1 win while Bossman will come in with a lot of confidence just simply because they always expect to win at this point! Can 16hrs get the win and start out the season 2-0 or will Bossman continue their dominance over 16hrs?
Prediction:
There is one bit of news I wish I had in making a pick for this game but I don’t expect to know much until closer to gameday and that is if K. Walker plays or not. While I don’t expect a monster game from Walker this week I certainly think he outscores K. Vidal who is the only backup RB that 16hrs has right now. One thing to note is that both J. Allen and J. Cooks are playing in the Thursday night game for Bossman. While this is fun because you get to see your fantasy players live it always seems that the scoring is down on these Thursday games which means that the fantasy scoring is usually down as well. I don’t have any stat to prove this just simply something that “seems” true! Also both J. Jefferson and A. Jones play the 49ers this week who just held G. Wilson and to some level B. Hall in check last week so I am putting those two down a notch. Guys, I am telling you all this to help justify why I am picking 16hrs to beat a Bossman for the first time since 2009! 16hrs with the win to move to 2-0!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 18
- Record: Advantage Bossman at 16-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage Bossman 138.77 to 110.73
Big Papa (1-0) vs PackerFANatic7 (1-0)
Another set of teams coming off of big week 1 wins! This is especially important for PackerFANatic7 as they want to get off to a fast start before injuries and bye weeks inevitably set in. Big Papa will be looking to start strong after a disappointing season last year. These teams have met 7 times and seem to play each other really close. One of them will walk away a winner and be sitting at the enviable record of 2-0 to start the season!
Prediction:
I did not like what I saw at all from J. Burrow on Sunday. Maybe that injury is not fully healed? If they can’t beat the Patriots at home it would seem hard to believe they could in any way keep up with KC in Arrowhead. I don’t expect as big of a game from J. Reed this week given the fact that M Willis likely throwing passes to him however I do think he still holds decent value as I expect a lot of short passes / screens /etc. This one should be close but I like PackerFANatic7 to win this one. Overall the player matchups favor them in this one!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 7
- Record: Advantage Big Papa at 4-3
- PPG Avg: Advantage Big Papa 110.52 to 98.31
DaUnderdog (1-0) vs BIGBOY! (0-1)
DaUnderdog is coming off a nice win in week 1 and will be looking to keep it going against the team that struggled the most last week in BIGBOY! A lot of times this early in the season it isn’t something to be too worried about however given that BIGBOY! was not dealing with any injuries I am sure they will be looking for a much better outcome this week. DaUnderdog will likely be without their star QB in J. Love and will be left moving to a division rival QB in C. Williams. He didn’t show much last week but the potential is there and in a game that they are going to have to throw to keep up it might not be all bad.
Prediction:
I Expect big games from DJ Moore, Deebo, McLaurin and B Hall for DaUnderdog. I really like J Conner this week along with AJ Brown but after that.. I guess I am a little more concerned about this BIGBOY! team. I am going to go with DaUnderdog to keep it rolling and move to 2-0 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 14
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 10-4
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 111.80 to 99.64
pack slayer (1-0) vs HHH (0-1)
pack slayer had one of the more impressive week 1 wins and now they go up against a HHH team that will be missing two starters. This matchup overall has been really, really close as pack slayer holds a one game advantage but the avg point difference is 0.19 points over 13 games! Can HHH figure out a way to get the win or will pack slayer prove that last weeks win was no fluke!
Prediction:
I like pack slayer a lot in this one. Kupp is going to have a monster game against Ari and in that same game I kind of like M Wilson to outperform his projection. Look for Kincaid to have a bounceback game tonight on Thursday night football and overall I think pack slayer has the better and more dynamic roster. I am not 100% sure how HHH will be handling the injuries so I have pack slayer winning this one to get to 2-0.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: Advantage pack slayer at 7-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage pack slayer 110.02 to 109.83
Rapids Plungers (1-0) vs teamAlaska (0-1)
Rapids Plungers comes into this one with a win under their belt and they will look to start fast like they always do by getting another W here this week. They are going up against a teamAlaska team that didn’t play horrible last week but just couldn’t muster up enough points to get the win. Injuries are going to play a factor here as Achane and K. Allen are questionable for teamAlaska.
Prediction:
Here is how I see this game going. If Achane and K. Allen play AND CMC is back which means Rapids Plungers couldn’t play J. Mason then I would pick teamAlaska to get the narrow win however I am not confident in all of that happening so I am going with Rapids Plungers to get the win and move to 2-0 on the season and sending the A+ draft graded team to 0-2. What does Yahoo know anyway!?
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 16
- Record: Advantage Rapids Plungers at 9-7
- PPG Avg: Advantage teamAlaska 115.13 to 115.04
Sportsfreak (0-1) vs U Don’t Know (0-1)
Two winless teams coming into this week will be looking to avoid the dreaded 0-2 hole. Given how the past few or more years have been going for Sportsfreak I would consider this a very important early season game as they desperately want to avoid a 0-2 hole. Of course, U Don’t Know is feeling the same thing which makes this a fun (kind of important) early season game!
Prediction:
This is a tough one as I see some tough matchups for players on both teams. I like C. Lamb to have a nice bounce back week after a lackluster start and I think Mahomes also could be in line for a solid game. Overall, I like Sportsfreak and a few of their players such as Kamara and Lamb to outscore U Don’t Know. Sportsfreak with the much needed win to avoid an 0-2 start.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 18
- Record: U Don’t Know at 10-8
- PPG Avg: Advantage U Don’t Know 116.20 to 114.70
