Pack Attack (110.97) vs Rapids Plungers (102.47)
Pack Attack (2-3) comes away with the much needed win as they try and do whatever they can to keep afloat while their guys get healthy. This is a tough one for Rapids Plungers as I am sure they came into this one thinking they should get the win but instead they fall to 3-2 and now have their own set of injuries to deal with as they lost R. Rice last week and now N Collins looks like he may miss some time.
16hrs Ahead of You!! (162.18) vs PackerFANatic7 (138.37)
The highest scoring matchup of the week goes to these two teams as they battled hard to try and keep up with each other but in the end 16hrs had a few more weapons and got their 4th win of the season! Guys.. this is seemingly a really good team! They were led by G. Wilson and his 29pts but they had 8 of their 11 positions score 10 or more. They are just waiting for DaUnderdog to slip up so they can take over that top spot! PackerFANatic7 falls to 2-3 on the season despite having their best scoring week all year! Sometimes unfortunately that is how it goes as you play the wrong person at the wrong time, you just hope your luck goes the other way at some point and you play the right person at the right time! PackerFANatic7 can at least hold their head high knowing they played a solid game. They are going to need wins but it seems those will come!
Starrfavrerodg (152.28) vs Big Papa (121.15)
Another one of those really good, high scoring games this week as Starrfavrerodg moves their record to 3-2 on the season and sends Big Papa to their 2nd straight loss after starting the season out at 3-0. So here’s the thing, in a 14 team league if you get one player to score you 52 points you really should win that game most of the time. That is what happened this week for Starrfavrerodg as K. Cousins (52.18) had a monster day on Thursday night and they never looked back from there. What is interesting is that K. Cousins was only in because J. Hurts had a bye otherwise we likely would have saw that 52 points show up in FA or someone’s bench! Big Papa did put up a good fight as Burrow countered with 40.91 points but it wasn’t quite enough this week. I would have to look back to try and find it but I would imagine it would be rare and difficult to find a week in which the two starting QB’s for each team combined for over 93 points! This was a good game for both teams as each of them were able to put up points despite some big names out with byes. They will both look to get a W next week.
BIGBOY! (132.46) vs pack slayer (119.66)
Finally! BIGBOY! comes away with the monster win and quite possibly saved their season as they move to 1-4 and got rid of that ugly goose egg! D. London (35.70) was the key to their victory this week and but they will be looking for a slightly more well rounded game next week. pack slayer made a run for it but ultimately falls to 2-3 on the season. It never helps when your starting QB fails to get you a single point and that is exactly what A. Dalton did as he scored 0.92 points all game. BIGBOY! will be looking to build off of this big win as they go up against a tough Rapids Plungers squad next week.
U Don’t Know (112.74) vs Bossman (105.57)
U Don’t Know with back to back wins to move to 2-3 on the season and sending Bossman to their 2nd loss in a row! This was a big one for U Don’t Know as they were hoping to build some momentum from last weeks victory. They didn’t get the 30+ point game from D Henry as they had in previous weeks but they did get overall better performances from their team. This one came down to P Mahomes needing a mere 3.93 points to lead U Don’t Know to victory and well he did that but barely as he failed to score a TD but did get the 300 yard bonus for an additional 5 points and that was all that was needed. Bossman seems to be struggling a bit which seems like this is the first time this has happened in years! And in fact I went back and looked and it has been years! There was two seasons (2019 and 2022) where Bossman lost their first game and then went on to win their next one so I am not counting those. Outside of that, the last time that Bossman was below .500 this late in the year was the 2018 season when they started out 1-2 and finished 5-8 on the season! This was also the last time they missed the playoffs! I am not saying that will happen this year but I am saying that for Bossman this is something they have experienced for awhile!
DaUnderdog (138.14) vs Sportsfreak (129.93)
DaUnderdog does it again as they get the come from behind victory to get win #5 and remain undefeated on the season. They were down by quite a bit going into the afternoon games on Sunday and then the scoring started coming in bunches for DaUnderdog as all their Packers players took over the game. J. Love (15.15), T. Kraft (20.40), GB Defense (15), & X. McKinney (15.55) combined for 66.10 points to lead them to the victory! These are the type of games that make fantasy football maddening if you are Sportsfreak. I know he loves the Packers and wanted them to win the game but did all of the scoring have to go to the players that he was playing against in this one!? 🙂 Sportsfreak falls to 2-3 on the season but didn’t play bad at all as they put up a solid 129 points. They will be looking to bounce back next week against HHH.
teamAlaska (134.17) vs HHH (82.49)
teamAlaska (2-3) comes away with the big win in the brother battle. This one was never really close as HHH had two players in their starting lineup that weren’t even active this week! ***Bit of advice here for you HHH, players who aren’t active won’t have a chance to score any points***. teamAlaska had their best week of the season thanks in large part to J. Chase and his 42.25 points! HHH falls to 2-3 and was the only team this week that failed to score 100 points! They will be looking for a much better week upcoming!
That’s it for this week everyone. Have a great week!
