Pack Attack (6-6) vs teamAlaska (4-8)

Pack Attack comes into this game with everything on the line. A win and they are in the playoffs. teamAlaska on the other hand saw their season come to an end last week and really a couple of weeks ago but they will be looking to end their season on a high note with a win.

Check out the Yahoo predictions for this one.

Historical Look at this Match-Up
Pack Attack holds a 7-5 edge in the 12 games that they have played. Pack Attack averages 125.97 ppg to teamAlaska’s average of 113.98 ppg.

Rapids Plungers (6-6) vs Showboat (1-11)

Rapids Plungers like Pack Attack is one of the five 6-6 teams that will be battling for two remaining playoff spots. The loss last week really hurt them as not only do they need to win this week but they also need to get some help. They will need a loss from either Pack Attack or pack slayer and they will need to outscore DaUnderdog by 2 points or more. For Showboat, one more game and they can put this season behind them. It has been a tough go of it for the two time defending champ and enjoy that trophy for the last couple of weeks!

Rapids Plungers has really been struggling as of late however in a must win situation like this against the last place team I think they find a way to win this one. Rapids Plungers to get win #7 and put pressure on the rest of the 6-6 group.

Historical Look at this Match-Up:
Showboat holds a 4-3 edge in their 7 regular season match-ups. Rapids Plungers has averaged slight more points at 118.69 ppg to Showboat’s average of 117.67 ppg.

pack slayer (6-6) vs U Don’t Know (4-8)

Game of the week! pack slayer is team #3 that is sitting at 6-6 and will need the win to get into the playoffs. pack slayer dropped a tough one last week to PackMan12 and now they go up against one of the hotter teams in the league right now in U Don’t Know. I will say it again but this U Don’t Know squad has a playoff roster they just got hit with injuries and poor play from some of their stars early in the season which made it difficult to be competitive. This will be an interesting game as U Don’t Know comes in with a lot of momentum and nothing to lose and pack slayer is skating on thin ice with little room for error.

Outside of the sting of losing last week pack slayer also lost their starting RB (Chris Johnson) for the remainder of the year. It is never easy to lose one of your starters but it gets magnified when it is just before the biggest game of the season. This forces pack slayer to start Langford and White at RB and when you look across the field (screen) you see the opponent starting McFadden, Lacy and McCoy it might make you fall through that thin ice I was talking about earlier. For pack slayer to win they will need another performance similar to last weeks from Fitzpatrick and Marshall. This is a toss up but I like Roethlisberger this week and the three headed monster I mentioned earlier. Look for U Don’t Know to finish the season on a 4 game winning streak.

Historical Look at this Match-Up
Each team has won two games in their 4 regular season meetings. pack slayer has averaged 117.99 ppg while U Don’t Know has an average of 103.14 ppg.

BIGBOY! (10-2) vs. PackMan12 (9-3)

Here is another interesting match up as with a win here PackMan12 would not only win their 8th in a row but they would also serve notice to the rest of the league and especially BIGBOY! that they can beat them.  This game means nothing from BIGBOY’s perspective as they have everything locked up but for PackMan12 it has the potential to give them a first round bye. If PackMan12 wins and Sportsfreak loses then the first round bye is theirs. And yet another interesting bit of information is that right now despite their 7 game winning streak and the fact that they could finish with a first round bye if the playoffs were to start today they would be the lowest scoring team in the playoffs which doesn’t always bode well to playoff success. A win here might make the doubters go away for awhile.

Anytime a team has arguably the best RB, WR and QB in fantasy football they will be tough to beat and that is the case for BIGBOY as Peterson, Julio Jones and Brady fit into that category. PackMan12 continues to find ways to win however I think BIGBOY! sends a message this week to not only PackMan12 but also the rest of the league that they are ready for the playoffs to come! BIGBOY! wins by 20+.

Historical Look at this Match-Up
BIGBOY! holds a 3-1 edge in their 4 regular season games. BIGBOY! averages 132.22 PPG to PackMan12’s 115.61 ppg.

Bossman (8-4) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (6-6)

Here is another big matchup as Bossman is still very much in the hunt for the #2 seed mainly because they will win any tie-breakers and I just told you that BIGBOY! will be beating PackMan12 so that just leaves Sportsfreak to need to lose and Bossman to win and they would have the #2 seed. 16hrs is the 6-6 team in need of the most help because they have the fewest points scored and it doesn’t look like they would be able to catch either of the teams ahead of them so they would need 3 of the 4 other 6-6 teams to all lose and they would need to win in order to get into the playoffs. Again is that doable? Of course. Anything can happen but I think for 16hrs their biggest challenge is just that they have to win this game.

The pickup of David Johnson on waivers this week could turn out to be huge for Bossman not only in this game but potentially in the playoffs as well. 16hrs is going to need some of their starts to step up and players like Gordon and Garcon who have struggled all year will have to come up big for 16hrs to get this win. I could see this be a close game but in the end I like the team with the biggest star in Antonio Brown. Look for him to have a monster game in Indy and lead Bossman to win #9 and a shot at that #2 seed.

Historical Look at this Match-Up
Bossman holds a 7-2 edge in their 9 regular season games played. Bossman has averaged 131.23 ppg while 16hrs has an average of 113.38 ppg.

Sportsfreak (9-3) vs Big Papa (5-7)

Sportsfreak comes into this one with a lot to play for. No their playoff hopes are not dependent on this one like some other teams but a first round bye is huge in helping their chances to get to the Super Bowl when playoff time does roll around. The only team that stands in their way of this is Big Papa and the father – son match up! Big Papa was able to get the win last week to hold of on officially announcing them out of the playoff race however as mentioned before their lack of points scored makes it virtually impossible for them to get in. This might be good for Sportsfreak to go into a game with a playoff type mentality as they have gone 1-2 the last three games after starting the season 8-1.

I wish I could somehow make this game more exciting then I think it will be but I am expecting Sportsfreak to come out strong and get the relatively easy win which will secure for them the #2 seed and the first round bye!

Historical Look at this Match-UP
Sportsfreak holds a 9-5 edge in the 14 regular season meetings. Sportsfreak holds the edge in ppg average at 118.30 ppg to Big Papa’s 109.04 ppg.

DaUnderdog (6-6) vs HHH (4-8)

I love that virtually every game has significant meaning to at least one of the teams and this game is no different as DaUnderdog currently is sitting at the #7 spot and will need the win and then hope for some help if they want to get into the playoffs. For HHH this was another tough season and with Gronkowski out this week it just put the cap on a disappointing year. Look for them to try to build some momentum with a win this week and not only would that knock DaUnderdog most likely out of the playoffs but it would give them bragging rights for the year.

With Gronk out for the year and DaUnderdog in a must win situation I think DaUnderdog takes this one to get to 7 wins. Will they be one of the two 7 win teams to make the playoffs? We will find out this weekend!

Historical Look at this Match-Up
DaUnderdog holds a 7-5 lead in their 12 regular season games. DaUnderdog averages 102.29 ppg while HHH averages only 99.25 ppg.

Good luck everyone and have a great weekend!
