teamAlaska (1-2) vs Pack Attack (1-2)
Here is a meeting between the #10 and #11 seeds in the league which basically just means they are at or near the bottom. The winner here would gain some confidence and move back to .500 while the loser will inch closer to the bottom of the standings. teamAlaska has had two rough outings but a win here would help them forget those at least for one week. Both teams are dealing with some injuries at key positions so I expect a low scoring game. This may come down to the team that has the highest scoring individual player.

BIGBOY! (1-2) vs 16hrs Ahead of You!! (0-3)
This isn’t what the two time defending champ BIGBOY! envisioned through their first three weeks of play but in the same sense this is an experienced coach and team that could at anytime get on one of those “rolls” that they have been able to get into the last two seasons. For 16hrs this is an interesting year so far in that I think they are not a 0-3 last place team. Their coach has been much more engaged then in years past (might be the pressure of that last place trophy) and they have played relatively well these past three weeks. So can 16hrs push BIGBOY! to the depths of the standings this week with a win or will BIGBOY! figure out a way to get the win?
Prediction:
There is no question that BIGBOY! has play makers but they have been extremely inconsistent each week. This week they will be without one of their top playmakers in L. Bell who has a bye week. For 16hrs they don’t have quite the playmakers across the board but they do have two areas this week that I think they will outperform BIGBOY and that is QB (D. Watson vs K. Murray) and TE (OJ Howard vs T. Eifert). You might think TE? Really? OJ Howard has struggled this season but he showed some signs of life last week. Tampa will likely be playing from behind so I like Howard to have a big game considering his projection of 6pts. All that said, I like 16hrs to get the upset and knock off BIGBOY!

HHH (2-1) vs Big Papa (2-1)
A good match up of 2-1 teams looking to make a statement and let the league know that they belong at the top of the standings. HHH has been playing extremely well their last two weeks and have themselves sitting in the #3 place in the standings. Big Papa, like I mentioned before comes into this one as their coach would say with the “best defense” in the league. They have only allowed 247 points the entire season so far which is only an average of 82pts scored against them. I am excited for this game as Big Papa has a lot to prove and I fully expect that 82ppg allowed average to go up a bit this week as they are playing the team in HHH that averages 140ppg. Something has to give… what will it be?
Prediction:
HHH has a lot riding on tonight’s game as they have Crosby, Jones and Adams all going tonight. You could argue that Jones and Adams are their top two players but Adams in particular has started slow. If HHH is going to win they will need them two to have solid games. For Big Papa, it is a given that Mahomes get his 30 pts but then after that where are the rest of the points coming from. I like Gurley and Hockenson this week but I am not sure if that is going to be enough. Look for HHH to be up by 27pts after tonight’s game and that will be enough to get them their third win in a row.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 17
- Record: Advantage HHH at 9-8
- PPG Avg: Advantage HHH 118.07 to 112.06
Rapids Plungers (3-0) vs Bossman (2-1)
Another week, another test for Rapids Plungers as they are going up against a solid team in Bossman who comes into this riding a two game winning streak and has improved each week. Rapids Plungers looked beatable in week 2 when they only scored 113 points in a win but in the the other two weeks they dominated and will be looking to do the same this week! Bossman has done a nice job finding ways to get wins despite not having their 2nd round draft pick and 15th overall in Tyreek Hill. A win here and Bossman puts themselves in the conversation as one of the top teams in the league.
Prediction:
Yahoo must not like Rapids Plungers team very well but clearly they keep performing OR maybe we are seeing a team that is has over performed the past three weeks and is due for a slide? I am not seeing it. I think Rapids Plungers continues to their dominance with a nice win over Bossman this week.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 11
- Record: Advantage Rapids Plungers at 6-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 130.86 to 124.86
DaUnderdog (2-1) vs U Don’t Know (1-2)
DaUnderdog? Not really anymore. With the way this team has been playing these first three weeks it is hard to consider them an underdog to many other teams. They will certainly come into this one as a favorite over a U Don’t Know squad that is living up to their name quite well so far this season. A win here by DaUnderdog along with a Rapids Plungers lost and you could be looking at the top team in the league after this week.
Prediction:
I always try to figure out ways that I can see teams winning and then probabilities of that happening. This is a hard one as I don’t see many points coming from U Don’t Know this week. I think Rodgers has a chance for a solid game tonight against the Eagles but after that… it looks tough. Look for DaUnderdog to dominate this game and win by 40+ points.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: Advantage U Don’t Know at 7-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage U Don’t Know 109.66 to 98.27
pack slayer (2-1) vs PackerFANatic7 (1-2)
pack slayer is coming off a huge win last week and got some even better news with M. Gordon deciding he wanted to play football again. I don’t believe that helps them much this week but long term that makes this team better for sure! PackerFANatic7 hasn’t been playing terrible despite their 1-2 record and they have been improving each and every week. It will be interesting to see which team gets the W in this one as I know PackerFANatic7 wants nothing to do with a 1-3 start.
Prediction:
This is going to be a tough game for pack slayer as they don’t have a lot of depth and their are going to be without two starters in Kittle and Breida. Meanwhile, PackerFANatic7 has a full roster and looks to build on last weeks performance. I like PackerFANatic7 in this one!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 2
- Record: Advantage PackerFANatic7 at 2-0
- PPG Avg: Advantage PackerFANatic7 137.23 to 125.78
PackMan12 (2-1) vs Sportsfreak (1-2)
Both teams are in a pattern through 3 weeks of win one, lose one. The difference is that Sportsfreak started with a loss while PackMan12 started with a win so if that trend continues then Sportsfreak wins this one. Throw out the records for a bit however as both of these teams have shown flashes that they can be a really good team but then they score 82 points in a loss (yes, I am looking at you PackMan12). Sportsfreak has been the most consistent through three weeks as their low scoring game has been 114pts but if you take out the two huge weeks that L. Jackson had in weeks 1 & 2 and that is about the score you would see. I think this is another one of those interesting games as I don’t really yet know what these teams might look like. I see good and I see bad. Curious what we will see this week.
Prediction:
M. Evans was awesome last week and in looking at this match up I see him and Conner needing to have big games for PackMan12 to come out on top. I like Conner’s match up this week against CIN however Evans against the Rams seems tough and it might be a C Godwin game. On the other side of the ball I love Mack this week against Oakland, Jackson should get back on track against CLE, and you expect OBJ to get his points. This is a tough one but I think PackMan12 squeaks out a win here in what might be the closest game of the week!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 8
- Record: Advantage Sportsfreak at 5-3
- PPG Avg: Advantage Sportsfreak 118.57 to 111.33
Good Luck everyone!
