Will 16hrs Ahead of You! move to 2-0 on the season? Can Bossman keep their regular season winning streak intact? Will Starrfavrerodg win their first ever game? Can teamAlaska make us all forget about their dreadful week 2 performance from last year?
All those questions answered and more in this week’s preview!
pack slayer (0-1) vs Pack Attack (0-1)
Two teams with 0-1 records however seemingly going in different directions after just one week of play. Pack Attack will likely be without their top player in Michael Thomas for “several weeks” and is going to have a hard time finding enough points on a weekly basis to win without him. pack slayer on the other hand got the type of performance they were looking for in week 1 which boosts the expectations for week 2 even higher. No one wants to start the season out at 0-2 but that is exactly what is going to happen to one of these two teams! Who will it be?

16hrs Ahead of You!! (1-0) vs HHH (1-0)
Two undefeated teams going head to head!!! This is going to be a great match up this week!! Oh wait, I guess it is just week 2 BUT it has been 8 years since the last time that 16hrs started out a season at 2-0 so this is a big deal for them to get this win! For HHH, they have won two championships and they usually start seasons strong…. right!? Not so much, the last time they started a season at 2-0 was 6 years ago! I tell you all this because obviously one of these two teams breaks that trend this week and I can’t wait to see who it is!
Prediction:
When looking at this game it is hard to look past what Matt Ryan and Julio Jones did last week. I am not necessarily expecting another game the same but I do expect a game that they are going to need to throw the ball to keep up. For HHH to win this one I am thinking they are going to need a 30+ point game from Brees and 20+ from A. Jones. Those are both obtainable but overall, I see a few more places that I am confident in scoring from 16hrs. I am going to go with them to get the win and move to 2-0 for the first time in 8 years! #PutItOnTheBoard

- Record: Advantage HHH at 9-8

Bossman (1-0) vs Big Papa (1-0)
Another matchup of 1-0 teams both of who played really well in their opening week victories and will now be looking to build on that momentum and stay atop the league with a 2-0 start. Bossman is no stranger to being at the top of the standings as they seem to live there but Big Papa would love to get their name being mentioned as a top team. We won’t start crowning any teams just yet but by the time week 5 comes around we usually have a pretty good idea of what teams will be there in the end. I think this game has the potential to be one of the best ones of the week! It also worth mentioning and if they keep winning we are going to be talking about it even more but including how they finished last season Bossman is now up to 10 regular season wins in a row which puts them in a tie for the 4th longest regular season winning streak of all time!
Prediction:
I am going to make the assumption that week 1 was not a fluke and C. Edwards-Helaire is going to help Big Papa win a lot of games this year. So I expect another big game from him this week but I think Ekeler for Bossman keeps pace and Cook outscores Drake. The rest of the top half of players are close but I think Josh Allen has a big game again this week against the Dolphins which leads Bossman to win #2 on the season and their 11th regular season game in a row!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 14
- Record: Advantage Bossman at 9-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage Bossman 115.96 to 107.01
BIGBBOY! (1-0) vs DaUnderdog (0-1)
BIGBOY! starts off the season with a great win last week and will be looking to do the same against a team in DaUnderdog which will be looking to avoid an 0-2 start. BIGBOY! loves playing DaUnderdog as they have dominated them over the years winning 8 of their 10 meetings. DaUnderdog lost two players to IR last week with the most important one being L. Bell. The good news is that Bell looks like he will be back in 3 to 4 weeks while Jarwin was lost for the season. Can DaUnderdog find a way to claw out a victory or will BIGBOY! steamroll ahead for a 2-0 start to the season?
Prediction:
Yahoo projections really seem to love BIGBOY! this week and I am not sure that I agree. I see the potential, I am just not sure it will happen. If I was BIGBOY! I would be watching closely how OBJ plays this week. He has not been the same player since being traded to Cleveland and if this team is going to compete for a championship they are going to need him to step up! Primetime game against CIN seems like a good opportunity for that however I am actually thinking Landry for DaUnderdog outscores him in tonights game and A. Hooper for DaUnderdog scores a TD as well. I am going to go with the upset here as I see another monster game from the reigning MVP in L. Jackson. DaUnderdog with the win.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 10
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 8-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 117.37 to 102.88
PackerFANatic7 (0-1) vs Sportsfreak (0-1)
I wrote about it a bit last week but both of these teams have been struggling the past couple of years and now one of them after this week will be starting out their season at 0-2. On the flip side / more positive side one of these two teams is going to be winning this week and getting back to .500 on the season! It is not often that a team with a player scoring 43 points finds a way to lose but Sportsfreak managed that feat in week 1! I am sure they were not thrilled with the performance of many of their other players and will be expecting much more this week from their entire team!
Prediction:
Yahoo projections have this as the closest game of the week and looking it as a whole I do think this will be a close game. The one lingering question that makes this a difficult one to pick is the status of G. Kittle for Sportsfreak. It doesn’t sound like he will be practicing this week but expects to play. How much or how effective he will be is the interesting part. On the other side of the ball PackerFANatic7 is going to need to get off to a good start with their Bengals duo this week of Mixon and Green. The most important one being Mixon as they drafted him in the first round and 10th overall to be the leader of their team! So who wins? I think Sportsfreak comes out on top in this one. With Marlon Mack’s injury, Hines becomes a solid play at the RB position and overall I like their weapons this week.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 3
- Record: Advantage Sportsfreak at 2-1
- PPG Avg: Advantage Sportsfreak 120.46 to 111.76
Starrfavrerodg (0-1) vs Rapids Plungers (0-1)
Rapids Plungers, the defending champion and overall one of the most successful teams in league history will be going up against a team in Starrfavrerodg playing in their 2nd career game. Experience certainly favors Rapids Plungers in this one but Starrfavrerodg is out to prove that he belongs and getting their first ever win against the defending champion would be a nice start to that!
Prediction:
Watson and Mahomes battled each other on the football field last week and now they battle each other on the “fantasy” football field! Mahomes got the better of him then and I expect he gets the better of Watson again here. Starrfavrerodg has a lot of injury concens going into week 2 with both Godwin and Conner being questionable to play and for Conner anyway not looking good. Rapids Plungers looks to be welcoming back Miles Sanders this week which should be just what this team needs to get their first W of the season. Without the injuries I may be looking at the upset with Starrfavrerodg but they will have to wait until at least next week to get their first ever win.

U Don’t Know (1-0) vs teamAlaska (1-0)
Another matchup between two teams with 1-0 records. teamAlaska was awesome last week but now we are in week 2 and I can’t help but think about last year when they did this same thing (dominated in week 1) and then laid the proverbial egg in week 2. U Don’t Know’s team got better this week with Jonathan Taylor becoming the new #1 back in Indy and not to mention A. Rodgers looking like the MVP Rodgers of old! This is an intriguing meeting because like a few other teams I mentioned teamAlaska also has struggled to get off to good starts and you have to go back 7 seasons for their last 2-0 start. For U Don’t Know it seems we have been feeling the momentum building for this team the past two seasons and they seem poised to make a run this year. A win here and a 2-0 start would be a great way to begin their season!
Prediction:
I think this game also has the makings of one of the best of the week as both teams have multiple players that could light up the scoreboard this week. I am however going to go with U Don’t Know with the win for two reasons. #1 Russel Wilson is going up against Belichick and that NE Defense while Rodgers gets a beat up Detroit secondary. Secondly, Wilson will be throwing passes to U Don’t Know’s DK Metcalf and I expect Wilson and Metcalf to end up within 10 points of each other in this one. All that said, U Don’t Know gets the W and moves to 2-0!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: Advantage U Don’t Know at 8-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage teamAlaska 116.13 to 114.83
