Sportsfreak (0-6) vs Pack Attack (0-6)
GAME OF THE WEEK! Right? How could the last two remaining teams that have yet to find a win this season going head to head not be game of the week material!? Well ok… not the Game of the week but a big game for both of these teams as this might be their best shot at a win. What is a bit ironic about this game is that these two teams are #1 and #2 in most regular season wins all time. I am kind of thinking that may change after this season! Sportsfreak did decide enough is enough and basically traded away half of their team in an effort to find a way to start winning. And you know what…. historically speaking there has been many years where a 7-6 team makes the playoffs! So I am saying there is a sliver of hope for the winner of this game…The sliver I am referring to is those super annoying ones that are sooo small that you can’t see but you know they are there because every time you step or brush your hand against something it hurts! I guess we will find out on Tuesday who can still feel the sliver or who got the tweezers out!

16hrs Ahead of You!! (3-3) vs PackerFANatic7 (3-3)
I am looking forward to this one and even though it may not be as high of a profile game as some of the other ones there certainly carries with it a good deal of significance as both teams come into this one with a .500 record and there is something about falling below .500 that always makes you feel like you are one step behind. Well, I guess you kind of are.. but it is not the place you want to be! 16hrs has won two in a row to get to this point while PackerFANatic7 seemingly had things rolling with two straight wins and then Rapids Plungers came to town. This is a good matchup and I am excited to see which team moves above .500 and inches closer to being a part of the top 6! It is also worth mentioning that PackerFANatic7 also got into the trading frenzy as they acquired T. Lockett but they had to give up arguably their top RB in J. Jacobs to do it. Another interesting trade that I will be curious how it works out for each team.
Prediction:
As I am looking at this game, the first thing that came to my mind is that the game between Jacksonville and the Chargers better not get canceled due to COVID as PackerFANatic7 has 5 players going in that game and the majority of them will be relied upon for solid points in order to get the win. I expect this to be a really close game and is probably the hardest game for me to pick. I am however going to go with PackerFANatic7 with one slight asterisk which is if Mixon doesn’t play then I think 16hrs gets the win. For now though I am assuming he plays and PackerFANatic7 moves above .500!

teamAlaska (5-1) vs BIGBOY! (3-3)
teamAlaska has been week in and week out proving that they are for real and with last weeks big win over HHH this is the clear cut #2 team in the league and the standings will reflect that as they are the only one loss team in the league. BIGBYOY! is quite the opposite right now as they can’t seem to get much of anything going and last week the wheels seemingly fell off with their worst performance of the year. This is a bad time to be struggling to score points as they are up against a team that through 6 weeks is the highest scoring team in the league. teamAlaska will be looking to keep pace with U Don’t Know and separate themselves from the rest of the field while BIGBOY! will be looking to get back into the playoff mix with a big win here!
Prediction:
Do I think BIGBOY! has a shot in this one? Yes. Do I think they find a way to win? No. Here’s why… R. Wilson and A. Kamara play for the other team! I expect big games from both of them and while I like Zeke against Washington and Julio seems like a strong play against Detroit teamAlaska is too deep and has two many other solid pieces that may not light up the scoreboard but they are consistent. A sneaky good play this week and someone who as I was looking through the matchup sealed the deal for me was B. Cooks in the flex spot. Jaire Alexander is rated as the top CB through 6 weeks and will likely go up against W. Fuller and in a game which you would expect a decent amount of scoring I like B. Cooks to have a big week for teamAlaska. I think they win and I don’t think it is very close.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 10
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 6-4
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 137.89 to 112.10
U Don’t Know (6-0) vs Big Papa (4-2)
There are some really good games this week and this is one of them. U Don’t Know is coming off their worst week of the season and will be looking to get some of the scoring momentum back after last weeks dud. They found a way to win and that is the most important part but now they are facing a Big Papa team that had one of their best weeks last week and will be looking to keep things rolling by sending U Don’t Know home with their first L! Doable? Yes. Probable?…..
Prediction:
I am going to have a really hard time picking against U Don’t Know at any point this season but you are seeing a bit of their weakness which is their RB depth. J. Taylor is on a bye which means that C. Thompson will be filling in and that is a big downgrade. However, when your other RB is D. Henry it might not matter who is along side him. I expect a bounceback game from Rodgers this week and U Don’t Know to cruise to their 7th win in a row to start the season.

- PPG Avg: Advantage Big Papa 115.42 to 114.66
DaUnderdog (2-4) vs pack slayer (1-5)
This is a game of two teams that both need a win to keep pace. Of course, just given the records pack slayer needs it a bit more but DaUnderdog seems like a team that is holding on by a thread and I am not sure how much longer they can stay afloat! pack slayer knows there season is on the verge of being over but they won’t go down without a fight and they made some “huge” trades in order to put together a team that they think can win. The problem is that it involved trading away their best player and #1 overall pick in C. McCaffrey but they did get a lot pieces in return which help balance out their roster. The big name player is G. Kittle who has been awesome when on the field. Trades are hard to do in this league but when they happen it is fun to track progress and see how each team benefits from them. pack slayer has lost 4 in a row with their previous team so why not shake it up a bit!?
Prediction:
Just when DaUnderdog finally got a good performance from L. Jackson he then immediately has to go to the bench because he is on a bye. pack slayer by getting rid of McCaffrey in a week he isn’t playing really bolstered their lineup to win right now. I think the trade pays off and they also will be getting back D. Johnson who was playing well prior to his injury. I expect pack slayer to get the win and stop their 4 game losing streak to keep their season alive.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 9
- Record: Advantage pack slayer at 5-4
- PPG Avg: Advantage pack slayer 116.02 to 107.96
Bossman (4-2) vs Rapids Plungers (3-3)
This is another one of those “good games” that are on the slate for this week! I have a ton of respect for both of these coaches and how they go about putting a roster together from week to week and it shows up in the standings. Coming into this season these two teams owned the #2 and #3 spots in highest regular season winning percentage and with Pack Attack’s terrible season they just may move to #1 and #2 when this season is over. They both know how to win and once again here they are in another season and both finding ways to win! Rapids Plungers is our defending champion and has one Super win to his name while Bossman has their name on that trophy two times! I am excited to see who comes out on top of this one.
Prediction:
Both teams are dealing with injuries or bye weeks to RB’s as Bossman will be without their top two RB’s, Dalvin Cook (bye) and A. Ekeler (IR). Rapids Plungers will be without M. Sanders (injury) for at least this week. Rapids Plungers will get at least one more week of M. Davis being a top tier RB so they best take advantage of it. J. Allen is in line for a bounceback game against the Jets this week but after that I don’t love the rest of the matchups for Bossman. I think Ridley should have a nice game but R. Woods is up against a tough Bears D and T. Fulgham the star waiver wire pickup is likely going to see a good amount of J. Bradberry who is one of the top CB’s in the league. Think about that… one of the top corners in the league is going to be shadowing who? Travis Fulgham! Either way that doesn’t bode will for Bossman and on the other side of the ball I see a lot of places for points. The entire WR group (including the flex) are guys that are capable of leading a team to victory each week and I actually really like C. Edmonds this week against SEA in a game that Arizona is likely having to throw to keep pace. I am going to go with Rapids Plungers to get the win and continue moving up in the standings!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 12
- Record: Advantage Rapids Plungers at 7-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 130.71 to 122.97
HHH (4-2) vs Starrfavrerodg (4-2)
Last week HHH was involved in a game that was at the time the #2 vs #3 team and now a week later they are involved in another good game where it is currently #5 vs #6. I don’t think I need to talk about the importance of this one as the loser likely falls out of playoff positioning while the winner could move as far as the #3 spot and within striking distance of those top two spots which is key come playoff time as #’s one and two get a first round bye.
Prediction:
This should be another good game but the one thing that I think is going to be a problem for HHH is injuries and bye weeks. In particular I am looking at J. Smith and the fact that both M. Andrews and J. Jefferson are on a bye. With that said Starrfavrerodg appears to be at full strength this week and like I mentioned in last week’s wrap up I am intrigued by D. Swift and how Detroit uses him moving forward. I am going with Starrfavrerodg to get the win and continue their great rookie season!
