DaUnderdog (104.97) vs Pack Attack (96.79)
Sometimes it is nice to play the right teams at the right time and that is exactly what happened this week for DaUnderdog as they take down a really bad Pack Attack team that still has yet to score 100 points in a game this season and now they lost J. Williams for the season. Pack Attack has never started a season 0-4, now they have.. what’s next… I would guess 0-5! 🙂 For DaUnderdog this is one of their best starts ever and they continue to just find ways to win! They are now one of only two undefeated teams and they are looking like the real deal again this year! Could a repeat be in the works?
16hrs Ahead of You!! (131.84) vs U Don’t Know (128.08)
We had a couple of really close, down to the wire kind of games this week and this one was one of them. Last week 16hrs (1-3) was also part of one of the closest games of the week as they lost by a mere point to Starrfavrerodg this week was much of the same as 16hrs came into the Monday night game down by 33.24 points with Higbee, A. Robinson and SF D remaining to play. You knew there was a shot but it would seemingly take great games from Higbee and Robinson who knew however that it was going to be the SF defense (21pts) that was going to lead them to the 3 point win! The late pick 6 by SF sealed the deal! 16hrs hasn’t had the start they were hoping for as this win was their first of the year but they have been competitive and maybe this is the big win they need to turn their season around! U Don’t Know falls to 2-2 on the season and has now lost two straight games. They will be looking to rebound next week against a tough Big Papa team!
Big Papa (151.07) vs Starrfavrerodg (144.94)
This was game #2 that came down to the wire and it involved Starrfavrerodg again who just last week as mentioned earlier was able to come away with the 1 point win over 16hrs! This seemed to be setup relatively well for Starrfavrerodg to get the win as they had a 18.49 point lead going into Monday nights game. Big Papa had C. Kupp and the Rams D left to play. As we all know by now, Kupp is almost always good for 20 points but Starrfavrerodg had the guy throwing him the ball so any TD’s would close to cancel out and he would have to throw the ball to some other players at some point right? Well as it turns out not really! Kupp caught 14 balls and while he didn’t get in the end zone he did get the 5 point over 100 yard bonus and put up 25 points. Stafford was horrible all night and finished with a mere 1.48 points. Starrfavrerodg… with a name like that you would think you would have a QB that could score more then 1.48 points on a weekly basis.. even 8 points would have been enough for the win! Big Papa moves to a solid 3-1 on the season and redeems themselves after a ugly loss last week while Starrfavrerodg falls to 1-3 despite having the second highest score in the league this week! That’s called playing the wrong team at the wrong time!
pack slayer (126.85) vs BIGBOY! (111.06)
Sometimes all that it takes is getting that first win under your belt and things can change quickly. Two weeks ago pack slayer was coming off a big loss to DaUnderdog to fall to 0-2 and staring at the possibility of starting off the season in a 0-3 hole. They have since then won their last two games and now are sitting back in the middle of the league with a .500 record and things are looking much better. However, they have won the past two weeks against the two teams that have scored the fewest amount of points so far so if there is an asterisk that would be it. BIGBOY! got a big game from D. Samuel last night which had me thinking maybe just maybe they could pull of the improbably comeback but they fell a TD and about 35 receiving yards short. BIGBOY! falls back to .500 in the season.
Bossman (119.18) vs PackerFANatic7(89.78)
It’s kind of laughable at this point how terrible this team was projected to be by Yahoo after the draft and here they are 3-1 and looking like one of the better teams in the league. I think those of us in the league certainly should have known better and knew that Bossman had a plan just like they seem to do every year and every year it just works. They move to 3-1 on the season with a easy win over PackerFANatic7. PackerFANatic7 falls to 1-3 and is doing everything they can to find that winning roster as through 4 weeks they have made the most “Moves” in the league. It hasn’t really worked out yet but it hasn’t been for lack of trying!
HHH (139.67) vs Rapids Plungers (116.94)
There it is! HHH gets their first win of the season and it turned out to be a big team effort as they had 5 players score 16 or more points with 3 players scoring more then 24. They got a huge boost thanks to J. Williams and his 25 points as he was filling in as the RB1 in Detroit. It is also worth mentioning that the #2 overall pick in the draft (Ekeler) had his best game of the year with 30 points! Overall this was a big win for HHH as they move to 1-3 and have improved their scoring each week so far this year. That will be a big ask next week but despite their 1-3 record this looks like a team on the rise. Rapids Plungers got a huge game from M. Sanders (29.03) and that is what kept them in this game but in the end they didn’t get enough help out of their WR group to win this one. They fall back to .500 on the season and will be looking to get back into the win column as they get BIGBOY! next week.
teamAlaska (144.37) vs Sportsfreak (90.48)
teamAlaska (4-0) does it again as they dominate this one and send Sportsfreak home with their 2nd loss in a row. teamAlaska gets the “Biggest Blowout of the Week” award with the 53 point win! teamAlaska leaves no doubt who the best team in the league is through 4 weeks and their record alone doesn’t make them the best team it is there level of consistency that has been ridiculously good! Through 4 weeks there lowest scoring week was 140.02 points and their highest scoring week was 151.64. That’s a mere 11 points from their worst to best and when your worst is 140.02 that is REALLY good! That of course is impressive and if I told you prior to last week that he has L. Jackson you may think yeah well he can’t score 40 points each week so when he scores 10 lets see how your team does. Guess what? L. Jackson scored 10 points last week and yet they still put up 144. I can’t imagine they will keep this up all year but this has been a very impressive 4 weeks of football for teamAlaska.
Sportsfreak falls to 2-2 on the season, the bad news outside of the fact they have lost two straight games is that they have been going the wrong way in terms of scoring as each week they have went down with this week being their first one below 100. There is some good news here and that is hopefully they will be getting back their two of their top weapons soon (Kamara and Swift) but without them as witnessed in week 4 this team may struggle to find points!
That’s it for this week everyone. Have a great week!
