My Picks Record:
Last Week: 5-1
Overall: 25-11
Starrfavrerodg (2-4) vs Pack Attack (1-5)
Starrfavrerodg is coming off a heartbreaking loss last week and it has really been 4 straight weeks for them of close games and games coming right down to the wire. If we look at their season, we can see that they struggled in their first two weeks (both losses) but after that they could have easily won their next 4 games OR they also could have lost them so this team was a play or two away from 4-2 but also 0-6. So the question becomes is the 2-4 record the correct representation of this team or are they about to go on a run in the last 1/2 of the season? They have a chance this week to start off that second half of the season run in a good way this week against the worst team in the league!

16hrs Ahead of You!! (2-4) vs Rapids Plungers (3-3)
Both of these two teams are coming of losses last week but in very different ways as 16hrs got beat by 76 points while Rapids Plungers lost by .08. It feels to me that losing the way Rapids Plungers did is worst as you can see so many ways in which you could have / should have won that game. Those losses however make this game that much more important for both teams as we start entering into the heart of bye season.
Prediction:
Rapids Plungers is hit hard with bye’s this week as they will be without J. Hurts, M. Sanders, D. Henderson and G. Davis. All of whom are regular starters for them. For 16hrs they will be without Higbee and A. Robinson but they get D. Carr and D. Henry back this week. I am not 100% sure how things are going to look for 16hrs this week as they will have some roster moves between now and Sunday but I see this as being a really low scoring game. The fact that Dak is back should help both Gallup and Lamb but with all those guys on a bye this is a tough week for Rapids Plungers. Assuming 16hrs adjusts their roster and fills everything in I see them pulling off the win and moving to 3-4 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: Advantage Rapids Plungers at 9-4
- PPG Avg: Advantage Rapids Plungers 114.64 to 98.83
Big Papa (4-2) vs HHH (3-3)
There are some really good games this week and this looks to be one of them. HHH has won three straight games to get themselves back into the mix while Big Papa has been relatively consistent all season as they continue to climb towards the top of the standings. Bye weeks and injuries hurt Big Papa in this one as they will be without C. Kupp and likely J. Conner. HHH has their full squad. Can HHH win their 4th in a row and move themselves into playoff seeding or will Big Papa continue their climb in the standings?
Prediction:
This is going to be a tough week for Big Papa as they are without Kupp and likely Conner as mentioned and then the matchups don’t seem to work in their favor. I think HHH comes out and dominates once again to win their 4th in a row.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:

- PPG Avg: Advantage HHH 116.91 to 112.67
teamAlaska (5-1) vs BIGBOY! (3-3)
teamAlaska is coming off their first loss of the season last week and it will be interesting to see how they respond. The tough part is that they are going to have to try to get the win this week without their best player as J. Jefferson is on a bye. The only other player on a bye is D. Smith but they have enough depth to cover that one. For BIGBOY! they too are hit with a tough bye week and primarily at the RB position as both starting RB’s are on a bye. They are hoping to get K. Allen back this week which would be huge as this teams offense could use something to get them going.
Prediction:
This looks tough for BIGBOY! but I do actually think they have a shot here. As much as I don’t really ever like D. Samuel I like him this week against KC and getting K. Allen back should help along with C. Godwin continuing to get more healthy. MVS was shut out last week which means he is in line for 100 yards and a TD this week. Last but not least Rodgers and that offense have to be about due for a good game right!? Those are the things that make me think they have a shot.. but because I have a picks record to protect I think the safe pick in this one is teamAlaska. L. Jackson has had three subpar games and I don’t expect their to be a 4th. This looks like a 30+ point game for him and that should be enough to lead teamAlaska to their 6th win but I expect this one to be closer then people may think.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 13
- Record: Advantage BIGBOY! at 7-6
- PPG Avg: Advantage BIGBOY! 132.51 to 113.80
pack slayer (3-3) vs U Don’t Know (4-2)
U Don’t Know is a team to watch out for. They have had back to back good weeks and look to be hitting somewhat of a groove. They are one of only two teams (Rapids Plungers) to have scored over 100 points each week and in their two losses they lost those games by a combined total of 9.12 points. As you can see this is a team that very easily could be 6-0! pack slayer is in a much different spot as through 6 weeks I am not sure if I know what this team is. Are they good, bad, average? I am going with more of the average which is exactly what their 3-3 record would tell you. They did however pull off a massive trade with PackerFANatic7 this week. Anytime you are trading away a guy like CMC however their is risk involved and while I like A. St Brown and D. Hopkins there is some unknowns there and CMC well… he is a 40 point game waiting to happen. This will be an interesting one to follow as the season progresses.
Prediction:
Bye weeks are hitting pack slayer hard as they are without K. Cousins, D. Knox and AJ Brown this week but they are also hitting U Don’t Know hard as they will be without Diggs who is currently the #2 scoring WR just a point behind C. Kupp. There is just not much here for either team. Where do I trust points to come from? pack slayer has 3 guys (their WR’s) as does U Don’t Know (QB / RB’s). This is the hardest game for me to pick as there are a lot of uncertainties with these lineups but I am leaning more towards pack slayer to pull off the win. I will go with pack slayer to get win #4 on the season.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 14
- Record: Advantage pack slayer at 7-4
- PPG Avg: Advantage pack slayer 121.94 to 109.03
Bossman (4-2) vs DaUnderdog (5-1)
Game of the week! Not only does it have two really good teams going head to head it is also a rematch of last seasons Super Bowl! Both of these teams come into this week coming off of improbable wins! They won their games last week by a combined 0.65 points! Wow! I am glad they both won as it makes this one feel that much more important as we have two teams who through the first half of the season look like not only playoff teams but teams that will be there battling for a championship. If there is a knock on this DaUnderdog team it is that they haven’t had the toughest of schedule so far. The combined winning percentage of the teams they have faced is .367 along with the fact they have played the three lowest scoring teams in the league through 6 weeks. The only current playoff team they have played is Rapids Plungers which happened to be their only loss. I am certainly not saying this isn’t a good team but what I am saying is that despite their 5-1 record they have something to prove this week! Bossman on the other hand has played some of the top teams in the league and if you count this game against DaUnderdog they will have played 4 of their 7 games against current playoff teams. The fact that they are 4-2 has them sitting in a good spot through 6 weeks. This should be a fun game and I am looking forward to seeing who comes out on top!
Prediction:
I talk all about how big of a game this is and then as I start evaluating the game I notice that the #1 overall player fantasy player (J. Allen) is on a bye this week for DaUnderdog and suddenly I am not quite as excited anymore. When you have a player that is averaging 31 ppg like J. Allen go out on a bye and you fill that with M. Ryan that is a bit of an advantage for your opponent. On top of that, Bossman has zero players on a bye week so they are at full strength. I don’t see DaUnderdog winning this one and I expect Bossman to win by 30+ points especially if J. Taylor plays which it looks likely.
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 17
- Record: Advantage Bossman at 12-5
- PPG Avg: Advantage Bossman 121.47 to 111.72
Sportsfreak (2-4) vs PackerFANatic7 (1-5)
4 weeks ago, PackerFANatic7 was 1-1 and coming off a week that saw them score 151 points and win by 46! Sportsfreak had just dominated Pack Attack to move to 2-0 on the season. Fast forward 4 weeks and these two teams are a combined 0-8 and the loser here is in danger of falling towards the very bottom of the standings! PackerFANatic7 pulled off a big trade this week and were able to aquire CMC from pack slayer. Could this be a somewhat desperate move? Yes, possibly but when your team is 1-5 and you have the chance to get a player that single handedly can win you games you take it! This is a big game for both teams if they want to have a chance at turning things around this season. Who breaks the losing streak and who moves to 5 losses in a row?
Prediction:
Ok, so here’s the deal. Both of these teams are better then their records may say. If you have three star players in this league you at a minimum should have an average team. PackerFANatic7 has Adams, Jones, CMC and I think you may be able to throw Prescott in there. Sportsfreak has Kamara, Swift and Herbert before the season I would have included Waller in there but he is proving that there is really only two TE’s worth a high pick and he isn’t one of them. It wouldn’t surprise me to see both of these two teams finish strong however one of them has to lose this week! There are a number of guys with the questionable tag this week however I think they all play. Assuming they do, I see this as being one of the closest, hard fought games of the week with the outcome coming down to how well R. Mostert and R. Smith (D player) play on Sun and Mon night for Sportsfreak. I am going to go with PackerFANatic7 to have their best week since Week 2 and get the win here!
Historical Look at this Match-Up:
- Regular Season Match-ups: 5
- Record: Advantage PackerFANatic7 at 3-2
- PPG Avg: Advantage PackerFANatic7 136.63 to 123.84
